GOP Senator Claims Putin Doesn’t Want Ukraine – ‘He’s Got Enough Land’

-

ANALYSIS – Seriously, Tommy? What the hell? First, let me say that I'm a fan of Senator . He is a commonsense conservative who fights for what is right.

His holds on military promotions over abortion and wokeness were valiant.

But when you go off the rails, I need to call it out.

And when Tuberville absurdly tells 's “War Room” Wednesday that Russian dictator  “doesn't want ,” adding: “Hell, He's got enough land” to be satisfied, then I need to call it absolute bulls**t. (RELATED: Putin Plans To Quickly Take Out UK And French Nukes)

Mediaite notes that:

Bannon elicited the answer when he asked Tuberville if there was “any logical way, when they talk about this peace conference all that, that the Russians are gonna give up Donbas and the eastern-speaking Russian provinces of Crimea or things that they feel that they fought for and control those territories? Because [Volodymyr] Zelensky and these guys said we can't even have a meeting or can't even really go forward to a peace conference if that's on the table from .”

And Tuberville's complete response was mind boggling, and embarrassing:

They had a done deal, we all know that, but we talked [to Ukraine] them, “Hey, we'll give you whatever it takes, we're gonna give you, you're gonna be able to fight these Russians and knock 'em back.”

How many clips have you seen of a battle in Ukraine? Zero in the last 6, 7, 8 months? It's one-sided. Putin's just kind of sitting back watching what's going on, wondering, “hey, when y'all going to come over and we'll, we'll draw a line here.” He doesn't want Ukraine. He doesn't want Europe. Hell, he's got enough land of his own. He just wants to make sure that he does not have weapons in Ukraine pointing at Moscow.

He is wrong on all counts.

And this Putin-appeasement syndrome by some American conservatives, such as Tuberville, and Tucker Carlson, is ignorant, embarrassing and just plain stupid. (RELATED: Tucker Carlson: I Always Carry A Gun As A ‘Statement Of Autonomy')

Anyone who knows anything about Putin knows that he believes Ukraine isn't really an independent country and that the entire nation is part of Russia.

Hell, Tommy, Putin's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 was originally intended to swallow the entire country. He just miscalculated the resistance.

“First of all, I would like to reiterate that Ukraine is just not our neighboring country. It's an integral part of our history, culture, and spiritual space,” said Putin shortly before launching his attack.

“Let's start with the fact that modern Ukraine was entirely created by Russia, more precisely, by Bolshevik, communist Russia. This process began almost immediately after the 1917 revolution,” Putin added.

“And in 1954, for some , Khrushchev took Crimea from Russia and gave it to Ukraine. Actually, this is how the territory of Soviet Ukraine was formed.” (RELATED: Russia Upgrades Facility Near Ukraine, Raising Concerns Of Nuclear Weapon Storage)

Putin has also spoken openly and frequently about his other aims to establish a “Greater Russia.” His likely targets after Ukraine are the three tiny Baltic republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which have significant Russian speaking populations.

He is also causing turmoil in Transnistria, a breakaway region of Moldova which borders on Ukraine as well as NATO country Romania. There he has a sizable contingent of Russian troops.

And there are many other ways Russia is using “hybrid warfare” tactics against NATO countries already.

So, anyone who believes Putin has enough land and doesn't want more is simply wrong. Come on Tommy, wake the hell up.
