Manifesto Destiny

-

I don't trust you

Even though you are whispering in my ear

Each word you speak clangs hollow

And your promises I can no longer hear…

Every time you speak you mean each word

But you're fickle and change with the wind

Back to Professor , helpfully enlightening us schnooks… you know, the unenlightened.

Both domestic extremists and foreign terrorists are using online extremist messaging and calls for violence to motivate supporters to launch attacks. Individuals upset about the and new laws or court decisions might attack…a key factor in potential violence is “perceptions of the 2024 general election cycle”, a reference to disinformation suggesting that U.S. elections are rigged. This false allegation is a staple of former president Trump's political messaging.

Here we sit up in our seats. Those who recall the late actor Ron Palillo playing Horshack in the ‘70s TV show “Welcome Back, Kotter” imagine themselves raising their hands to be called on by the teacher, played by Gabe Kaplan. “Ooh, ooh, Mister Kaaaahttter… ooh, ooh…!”

Once again, let's give the feds some leeway and assume they are trying to be fair-minded. They are coupling “domestic extremists” with “foreign terrorists,” the two wearing the same “both” as a crown of thorns.

But wait?! It is a fascinating fact that there are no right-wing “foreign terrorists” at all! Have you ever thought of that, dear reader? Since all the anti-Israel terrorists of Middle East origin are seen as “freedom fighters” against those mean Israelis, there are no right-wing terrorists anywhere in the world today. A South American freedom fighter? Left. European, like Basque or something? Left. African? Left (since the pro-American types disappeared circa 1990). Palestinian? Left.

Well, who is left on the right? Nobody at all. I repeat, according to American “politically correct” thinking, THERE ARE NO RIGHT-WING FOREIGN TERRORISTS AT ALL.

Should we then believe that by a weird confluence, ALL the foreign terrorists are leftists, but ALL the scary domestic malcontents are rightists?

Could it be that the violent behavior shunned by rightists abroad is embraced by rightists at home and the violent behavior embraced by leftists abroad is shunned by leftists at home? When the angry bloodthirsty leftist terrorists cross our border, who do they hook up with here, a country where the left-wing is all lovely, gentle, even pacifist?

There was quite a scene in the U.S. Senate recently. A woman was testifying as the leader of a research group listing all organizations that are threats to engage in violence. The Republican Senators were questioning why all the threats she identified were “on the right.” She essentially answered that there were no threats from the left. All with what appeared to be a straight face.

We all know the actual truth. The leftists are the violent ones. The vast majority of mass murderers turn out to have a book-length left-wing screed at home. The Unabomber actually had his published in The Washington Post. This is their modern vision of America: manifesto destiny.
