Elderly Pro-Life Volunteer Shot While Canvassing Michigan Neighborhood

-

An elderly woman volunteering for Right to Life of Michigan was shot while canvassing homes in Michigan.

The victim, an 83-year-old woman, was reportedly going door to door passing out pamphlets and talking about a Michigan ballot initiative that seeks to enshrine rights in the state constitution.

The “victim said that she was shot in the back/shoulder while leaving a residence during a heated conversation, and that the man who shot her was not a part of her conversation,” the group wrote in a press release.

“The victim does not know the identity or motive of her shooter. The victim is still recovering from her gunshot wound and wishes to remain anonymous while the criminal investigation proceeds,” the Michigan Right to Life press release stated.

The victim drove herself to the Lake Odessa Police Department after she was shot in the shoulder, according to state police. She was then taken to an area hospital, where she was treated and released.

“We're glad the victim is recovering, and our volunteers will continue knocking doors on Proposal 3,” Right to Life of Michigan official Chris Gast told Fox News Digital.

The incident follows a string of violent acts targeting conservatives over the last month.

Recently, a North Dakota man intentionally mowed down an 18-year-old boy after engaging in a “political argument.” Shannon Brandt, 41, reportedly told authorities he believed the boy was a “Republican extremist.” (RELATED: North Dakota Man Released After Killing Teenage ‘Republican Extremist')

  1. Bidim incites violence with his MAGA Republicans are Fascist rhetoric & we see all these attacks on conservatives. Yet the MSM sees no correlation between the rhetoric and the violence. Seriously, you don’t see the cause and effect??? Bidim definitely is inciting this violence and should be held accountable.

  2. All conservatives need to be ready to pick up their guns when the left starts a civil war, which seems to be what they are pushing.

  3. It’s just Biden’s minions doing what he urged them to do in his “I am Hitler” speech. He called for the extermination of the Ultra MAGAs as a Final Solution to the MAGA problem afflicting his party. Normal Americans must arm themselves in their own defense.

  4. You should find this person that did it and the people of that house know who it is and put them in jail with no bond and charge with attempted murder.
