COME ON, ELON – Elon Musk draws fire for ‘Russia-friendly' Ukraine proposal. This is certainly an interesting time for Tesla CEO Elon Musk to outline an unsolicited Ukraine peace plan that seems designed to lock in Russian territorial gains.

CHINA THREAT

Russia's Putin signs laws annexing occupied Ukrainian regions. Russian President has signed laws to formally absorb four Ukrainian regions into Russia, following referendums in those areas that Kyiv and its Western allies called a meaningless “sham.”

Ukraine considering restarting Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. Ukrainian officials are considering whether to restart two reactors at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station in order to ensure that its safety equipment remains undamaged and operational, the head of Ukraine's nuclear power operator told AP in an interview Tuesday. US Marine F-35Bs, Japanese fighters fly show of force mission following North Korean missile test. Eleven U.S. and Japanese fighters flew a show of force mission over the Sea of following a North Korean missile test over the Japanese home islands, a Pentagon spokesman said on Tuesday.

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
