Pentagon Moving Away From Celebrating Woke Pride Month

-

ANALYSIS – It appears that the conservative backlash against the overwhelming oppression of the radical LGBT agenda is finally having an effect.

Not only with companies like Budweiser feeling the pain of hiring a man who claims to be a woman as a digital ambassador for its beer, but the Pentagon is feeling it too.

Only the Navy posted anything LGBT or pride-related on June 1, the start of Pride Month. And then, it was quickly taken down by the next day and replaced with generic military imagery.

No explanation was given, but the word most certainly came down from the very top to drop the pride nonsense.

Thankfully, the Navy has also taken down other posts celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month on social , including rainbow banners that read “Pride.”

In the last few years, the beginning of June became the start of a month-long LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) bombardment where every private and public organization, often under pressure from the woke mob, tried to outdo each other in celebrating gay pride.

Rainbow flags and imagery were blasted on everything, including official and military websites. Not to mention U.S. embassies overseas.

This reached a hysterical peak in June 2022 when even the Marines caused a stink by idiotically tweeting in support of Pride Month.

But gay pride quickly morphed into ‘trans' pride and has been taken over by the push to normalize , or ‘transgenderism,' even among children.

As I have noted, today's LGBT has little to do with LGB and is almost exclusively about the ‘T.'

And this appears to be where the American people finally said enough. The Republicans have been leading the fight against this radical trans agenda at the state and federal level.

The GOP push has been most fierce against the Pentagon efforts kowtowing to the far-left gender extremists.

But conservative lawmakers have recently ramped up pressure on the military to end all diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including taxpayer-funded promotion for Pride Month.

As  reported, Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, sent a letter to Defense Secretary Thursday demanding that the Pentagon turn over documents and information on every Pride Month celebration sponsored or supported by the military this June.

Earlier, the DOD canceled a “child-friendly” drag show at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada after Rep. , R-Fla., “demanded answers” about the event from Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General .

As I noted in my , this pressure had the desired effect as the Pentagon has canceled drag queen shows on military bases, with Austin stating: “Hosting these types of events in federally funded facilities is not a suitable use of D.O.D. resources.”

According to , the decision to cancel the event came directly from Austin and Milley, with Milley seen visibly agitated when he was informed about the event.

Meanwhile, despite the Navy's brief foray into, and retreat from, LGBT Pride waters, other U.S. military branches have correctly turned their attention this month to issues like PTSD Awareness, recruitment and education.

The Marines this year appear to be back on track.

June is PTSD Awareness Month. This is a far more pressing and appropriate issue to be highlighting.

And the Army is also ignoring Pride Month this year to focus on its own proud martial heritage.

Neither the Air Force nor Space Force made any changes to its profile photos or header images for the beginning of Pride Month, both instead opting for online posts about their own services.

Only the Coast Guard and the National Guard made posts for Pride Month, but neither service changed its profile pictures or header image. Hopefully, they will soon get the memo.

The American backlash is here. And the Pentagon may finally be waking up from its ‘woke' nightmare.

  1. This is just because Democrats want to get reelected and 2024 is an election year. They were all in last year.
