Republican Governors Work Overtime to Help Secure Southern Border

-

Republican governors of two states have recently taken new measures to secure America's southern border while the sits idly by.

Governor of tweeted Monday that over 3,900 illegal immigrants have been returned to the border by the Texas Department of Public Safety so far in Operation Lone Star. (RELATED: Texas Counties Declare a Border ‘Invasion' of Illegal Migrants – Governor Acts)

Governor of Arizona has been tweeting the past few days about additional efforts taking place in his state to help secure America with a extension. For the time being, double-stacked shipping containers have gone up on the border near the city of Yuma.

The containers — topped with barbed wire — have created a physical barrier on the southern border where a 1,000-foot gap in the border wall was before.

Dale L. Wilcox, Executive Director and General Counsel of the (IRLI), told American Liberty News that he appreciated the work being done by states to resolve the immigration crisis but wishes it wasn't needed:

“The governors are performing a valuable service by showing these sanctuary mayors the real costs of their virtue signaling. It would not be necessary, however, if our elected leaders simply enforced the immigration laws that have been ignored for political convenience.”

Meanwhile, RJ Hauman, Director of Relations and Communications at the (FAIR), expressed his frustration with the Biden administration, stating to American Liberty News that:

What is happening at the southern border is without precedent in American history. Not only is at a record high, the magnitude of death and destruction experienced in the at the hands of ruthless and powerful cartels is well documented. The Biden administration has created an awful situation leaving border states like Texas and Arizona to explore their own solutions.

To sum it all up, Hauman added that the “only person who can truly end the crisis lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.”

In a separate release issued Tuesday, FAIR published a shocking new statistic showing the total number of illegal immigrants that have come to America since Biden took office — nearly 4.9 million and counting.

Another tweet by Governor Ducey from earlier this week highlights what that number means to his state, particularly in the high-traffic Yuma sector — where the latest border barrier has gone up. (RELATED: Democratic Candidate in Arizona Denies Immigration Crisis Exists)

  1. Put land mines all along our borders. Fill the Rio Grande with alligators. That will solve the problem. When a few illegal aliens get either blown up or eaten (alligators have to eat too) they will get the idea that it isn’t a real good idea to invade another country and maybe some of our citizens won’t have to die from gangs or drugs.

    • Sounds like a good plan, and it would cut down the unrestricted flow of illegals. Any that got through and then got caught should be thrown right back across the border. We need to stop the invasion because we, as a country, cannot afford to just let 2 to 3 hundred thousand illegals come into our country every month. Unless stopped these United States of America will cease to exist.
