Dr. Fauci’s ‘Final Message’ Erupts Into Chaos in White House Press Room

-

Chaos broke out in the White House press briefing room as White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci finally heads for the door after misleading Americans about Covid-19 for years.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre invited Dr. Fauci up to the podium to deliver a “final message” to Americans after delivering a rambling welcome reminiscent of a eulogy.

“My message — and my final message, maybe the final message I give you from this podium — is that please, for your own safety, for that of your family, get your updated shot as soon as you're eligible to protect yourself, your family, and your community,” he urged.

As Dr. Fauci soaked in his last moments of power he refused to acknowledge his part in what many consider a botched response to the pandemic over the years or the impact his authoritarian advice had on Americans- often to their detriment.

For those keeping score at home, Dr. Fauci advocated for school closures early in the pandemic, initially advised against buying masks, intentionally withheld information from Americans, and often demonized Americans who chose not to get vaccinated.

Following Fauci's monologue, Jean-Pierre snapped at reporters who raised questions about the origins of COVID-19 after the White House coronavirus response team updated reporters on the administration's vaccine efforts.

Daily Caller White House correspondent Diana Glebova attempted to ask a question regarding what Fauci has done to investigate the origins of COVID-19.

“We have a process here. I'm not calling out on people who yell. And you're being … disrespectful to your colleagues, and you're being disrespectful to our guest,” Jean-Pierre said. “I will not call on you if you yell, and also you're taking time off the clock because Dr. Fauci has to leave in a couple of minutes.”

When Glebova objected, Jean-Pierre said she was “done” and was “not getting into a back-and-forth with you.”

Then Today News Africa journalist Simon Ateba also intervened and defended her, saying the question was “valid and should be asked.” Once again, Jean-Pierre lost her temper.

“You need to call people across the room. She has a valid question, she's asked about the origin of COVID,” Ateba said.

“It is not your turn,” Jean-Pierre shot back. “I hear your question, but we're not doing this the way you want it. This is disrespectful … Simon, I'm done. Simon, I'm done. I'm done with you right now. You're taking time away from your colleagues.”

Fauci will step down as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in December.

  1. I do not bemoan Jean Pierre’s performance as answering the questions asked thoroughly and honestly is not possible if she would like to retain her position. I do respect that she stands her ground with badgering reporters. I do not respect the people she represents and the conflicting requirements she faces. I cannot imagine she is privy to the information required, nor is at liberty to be honest. On more than one occasion, I have said to myself, “It sucks to be her right now.”.

    • True that. It must suck alright to be her at any time. To be a leach, a liar and person who thinks higher of herself than she ought and is just another liberal lying sanctimonious obstructionist.
Outside of that she’s a peach and so misunderstood. “NOT”

    • Sorry,(not sorry), but no pity. She accepts the paycheck and the notoriety that comes with it. She has no moral base and has chosen her path.

  2. It is sanctimonious Pierre who is disrespectful to all of us. If these reporters waited for her to call on them and then honestly answer their question, they would never have the opportunity to.

  3. well, I have to be honest…… many years ago, I found myself thrust into a position where I was required to manage serious complaints against my employer (a major utility company). It was a difficult situation. I held my end up well enough, with some clever solutions against both bogus and legitimate complaints. However, the company backed me with what ever move I made. My goal was to keep the peace and perform for the greater good. However, when I look at the situation the Whitehouse mouth pieces are thrust into, I just recoil. I’m not saying that any of these are reputable people, I’m just saying that they are all put in a difficult spot. That spot being that what you are supposed to defend is BS. How do you defend your bosses position when it is pure BS. Now, through my tenure in the similar game, I ran up against this very delima. I chose to bow out. Costed me a great bit of my career. However, I will say that I’m better for it, and so is the world.

  4. I consider what our government has done to we the people is a slap in the face. Why are we still doing business with China?

  5. The WH masters of Deceit, masters of the BIO Weapon Fear Tactics that helped to make America one step closer to a dictatorship and Notcy regime

  6. Fauci is a criminal that intentionally took America down for 2 years, along with his fellow DEMS. If they were not all so selfish and actually cared about us, we’d be in a lot better shape as a country.

  7. If you don’t tow the party line you will either be ignored or chastised. KJP is a know nothing power hungry narcissist, who can’t answer a single question honestly. All she does is make excuses or point fingers at others in defending the indefensible.
