John Bolton Announces He Will Run for President

-

Former Trump White House National Security Advisor John Bolton made news on “Good Morning Britain” on Friday.

Bolton revealed that he intends to mount a run for the White House in 2024. He believes not only that he can overpower former President but that Trump's support is in “terminal decline.”

Known for his staunch neoconservative views, Bolton prominently served the administrations of George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush.

Trump sacked Bolton, his third national security advisor, amid disputes over how to best handle crises in North Korea, Afghanistan and other hotspots. Frustrated by his hawkish tendencies, Trump ridiculed Bolton in cabinet meetings over his desire to entangle the in foreign conflicts.

The duo's acrimonious relationship spilled into the open after Bolton's dismissal. The 45th president announced Bolton's discharge to the world on Twitter only to be challenged by his former aide, who claimed he left on his own accord.

America News Nation has more on the Trump-Bolton relationship and what may be next:

He was Trump's national security advisor from April 2018 to September 2019, two years after he was passed over as a prospective secretary of state because the GOP president ‘didn't like his mustache.'

Later, the two disagreed on and Afghanistan foreign policy.

Bolton had expressed interest in running for president last month, telling NBC News that he wanted prospective 2024 Republican candidates to condemn Trump's proposal to override the Constitution and hold an instant repeat of the 2020 presidential election.

So far, Trump is the only Republican candidate who has declared his candidacy for the 2024 race, but Gov. Ron DeSantis is generally anticipated to run.

‘I think Trump's support within the party itself is in terminal decline. I wouldn't run as a vanity candidate. If I didn't think I could run seriously, then I wouldn't get in the race.' Bolton claimed during the interview.

  1. Oh! No another psychopath old rino grumpy man? Oh! No!!! Please no he’s not presidential material…

  2. Bolton is either very bored or delusion – well, actually probably both. The only vote he is assured of is his own. I would do a write in before I voted for this guy.

  3. The man just wanted war. In my opinion he wanted war with any one and Trump shut him down, going for peaceful responses!
