FOIA Emails Show Collusion Between CDC and Big Tech

-

A new batch of incriminating emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request unveiled to the public today show how the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention () and social giants have worked together to censor ordinary Americans.

As Justin Hart at Rational Ground reports:

American First Legal published documents which they received via FOIA to the CDC trying to uncover collusion with Facebook, Twitter, Google and other Firms. Those of you who have been following us know that I've had my own lawsuit waylaid for lack of evidence – because the keeps dragging their feet on FOIAs.

Well, this might open it all back up again!

We have limited resources to force the hand of Twitter and Facebook but the the BIG no-no here: government entities working to censor Americans using Big Tech as a proxy! Here is just SOME of what we found.

Here's an email from a public affairs for the CDC to “invite digital plarforms to attend a short ‘Be On The Lookout' meeting on COVID.”

Apparently, there was a follow-up email with slides and a warning NOT to share. included Facebook employees. Slides include “ADVISORY” examples of misinformation. Used ACTUAL Twitter accounts as an example – might be a big no-no.

Oh, look here. Twitter and the CDC had a weekly standing meeting to discuss vaccine misinformation. Again – Twitter is a private company – but if it's taking orders from a govt. agency (CDC) to censor Americans – watch out!

Nothing to see here… just the CDC asking Google to re-arrange the priority of pages which appear on the search results:

Some GLOWING back and forth praise between CDC employees and Google employees encouraging people to sign up to be part of various misinformation campaigns.

The email thread refers to a video about recruiting for the WHO misinformation campaign.

“The training is geared towards freelance consultants and national/international civil servants with experience responding to the infodemic and misinformation”

This weird graphic associated with the video, made by the WHO and distributed why the CDC at a conference with social media platforms? WTF is this?

Twitter joins in the fray – ready and willing to do the censorship bidding of the government.

And Facebook gave the CDC $15 million in ad credit to do as they seem fit. Lots of back massaging going on here. Lots of legal stuff is included in the letter to ensure they're in compliance… but did they stay in compliance? Endorsements seem all but a given right now:

Coordination was so tight that when official government entities got caught up in the Facebook dragnet they could reach out to fix it:

Lots of goodwill for helping with “college influencers” between the CDC and Facebook:

My case was tabled while waiting on FOIAs, but this shows some serious coordination: https://libertyjusticecenter.org/cases/hart-v-facebook/…

All docs can be found here: Lots of SPECIFIC Instagram posts at the end of the doc which we'll have to track down link by link.

  1. Hmm. So the FOIA request revealed that the various agencies were talking to each other in order to make sure everyone is on the same page regarding public health measures. In other words, this is a big nothingburger. Trying to imply that this is a smoking gun is as credible as the “impeachment” or Jan 6 “hearings”, in which we hear a lot of innuendo but no facts.

Also, the table highlighted in yellow shows a lot of antivax claims, many of which are utterly ridiculous. I’m going to assume that the reason this table was shared among agencies was so that they all know the kinds of misinformation spreading out there.

Health misinformation, in general, is a HUGE problem for public health agencies.

  2. I lost trust in the CDC and WHO two years ago. The WHO because they got caught fronting for China when the bogus Wu Han story came out, and the CDC when their first speech regarding the virus was aired. I forget the representative’s name but she was clearly was a shill for the Democratic Party…sister to a lawyer on the Mueller fiasco. Losing faith in those organizations will mean they have to work harder to compare to the depressing loss of faith due to the FBI and Pentagon.
