In a rare appearance on CNN, former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly weighed in on Tuesday's ABC-hosted presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Speaking with host Laura Coates, O'Reilly stated that “neither candidate won” the debate, criticizing both Trump and Harris for missing opportunities to connect with voters.
O'Reilly, host of No Spin News on The First, faulted Trump for his inability to “discipline himself” and avoid distractions, calling his approach to immigration policy a “Twilight Zone” moment that descended into the “theater of the absurd.” He also criticized Harris for dodging direct questions, accusing her of failing to provide clear answers on key issues. “When you are assessing a debate like this and you're going to say, well, who won? The American people should be winners of all political debates. That did not happen on Tuesday night. So neither candidate won the debate on merits,” O'Reilly said.
O'Reilly expressed frustration with both candidates for failing to articulate their policy positions. “Kamala Harris obviously is dubious to many voters,” he added, emphasizing that the debate was a missed opportunity for Harris to introduce herself and her policies to the American public. He also chastised the debate moderators for not holding Harris accountable for her evasive answers. (RELATED: Fmr. Fox News Star Shreds Debate Moderators)
O'Reilly concluded by stating that the 60 million viewers of the debate were left without answers on crucial issues like inflation, immigration, and the economy. “The American people didn't win,” he said, pointing to the lack of substantive discussion from both candidates.

SPOT ON!!! I 100% agree! Get us some equally fair moderators, treat both candidates the same, and hold both candidates accountable. STOP pointing fingers, calling names, rolling eyes, raising eyebrows and acting like kids. Act like leaders and professionals and give substantive answers!! The idea that you show strength by pointing out someone’s short comings instead of standing on your merits and accomplishments is very old now. America deserves more.
Correct! We the people did not get anything out of this Communist debate
I AM A CONSERVATIVE VOTER AND WILL BE VOTING FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP. HOWEVER, I WISH HE WOULD STOP WITH THE NAME CALLING AND BE DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT HOW HE WILL FIX OR COUNTRY. HE DID IT ONCE, HE CAN DO IT AGAIN. POINT TO THE FACTS THAT KAMALA AND JOE HAVE DONE NOTHING IN THE LAST 3 1/2 YRS BUT HUMILIATE AMERICA AND MAKE US THE LAUGHINGSTOCK OF THE WORLD, NOT TO MENTION FLOODING “OUR” COUNTRY WITH DRUGS AND ILLEGALS AND ALLOWING OUR COUNTRY TO BE RUN BY A MENTALLY INCOMPETINT JOE BIDEN. WHAT WILL CHANGE. THE ONLY THING SHE HAS DONE WELL IS LOOK STUPID WHEN ASKED QUESTIONS AND LAUGHING LIKE A HYENA AS SHE LAUGHS AWAY FROM ANY ANSWERS. IF TRUMP DOESN’T WIN, OUR COUNTRY WILL BE LOST TO SOCIALISM IF NOT WORSE. WE WILL ALL BE LOOKING FOR A SAFE HAVEN TO LIVE IN.
