Planned Parenthood proudly broadcasts its “educational” involvement in schools across America, and it may not come as a surprise that much of what is being taught has been criticized by concerned parents and commentators.
One particularly disturbing aspect of the curriculum described “commercial sex work” like stripping, prostitution and pornography as a “standard interpersonal relationship.”
Life Site News reports:
America's largest abortion chain is present in schools across America, and American Life League is calling out education administrators for granting Planned Parenthood access to students. The pro-life education organization points to one example, in which International Planned Parenthood Federation's “Deliver Enable Toolkit” shows teachers how to scale “comprehensive sexuality education” for children under age 10 – presenting the exploitation of women through prostitution as a normal “interpersonal relationship.”
American Life League's national director Katie Brown explained, “Public schools are allowing the organization that killed almost 393,000 preborn children by abortion in 2023 unfettered access to thousands of elementary, middle, and high school students in their classrooms, and it is spending taxpayer dollars to do so.”
The “education” varies state to state. In some areas of the country, they offer thirty minute videos on subjects like “How Abortion Works” (of course, avoiding the gruesome details or the biological facts like the ending of a human life). In Florida, they offer comprehensive guides that help teenagers obtain abortions without parental consent.
Brown continued, “Notably absent is any mention of chastity, expectant motherhood, fetal development, or parenting. Planned Parenthood teaches children to be sexually promiscuous so they will then need its abortion and birth control services later on.”
Many pro-life activists have believe that Planned Parenthood encourages promiscuous and harmful behavior that leads minors to unplanned pregnancy with the goal of increasing their bottom line, as abortion drives the vast majority of their revenue.
Brown stated, “Our children are America's most precious commodity, and we can't let them be abused by an entity that views them as disposable fodder for an ideology that devalues them and their very existence by insisting that they are expendable before and up to the moment, even after, they are born. Allowing Planned Parenthood to teach our children about anything does these young ones a horrible – and deadly – disservice.”
Life Site News goes on:
Planned Parenthood boasts on its website that it is the “nation's largest provider of sex education.” Its 2023 annual report claims that it has reached “1.2 million people … through education programming, outreach, and training,” garnered three million views of its “educational” videos, and spent $53.9 million on “sex education” expenses.
In 2018, parents in the United States, Canada and Australia pulled their children out of school in protest of Planned Parenthood's curriculum in what they called the “Sex Ed Sit Out.” It started in Charlotte, North Carolina and spread like wildfire coast to coast, quickly crossing international boundaries.
Why have’t they been put out of business?
