ANALYSIS – “Palace coup.” Democrats metaphorically threatened to take Biden fishing on the lake, just like Fredo in “The Godfather Part II.”
Even as the Democrats continue their ridiculous and dangerous claims that former President Donald Trump is an existential threat to democracy, they continue to behave as undemocratically as humanly possible.
Forget the lawfare against Trump and his allies, the weaponization of federal law enforcement against conservatives, attacks on the Supreme Court and many other authoritarian acts.
In order to “save democracy,” Democrat leaders apparently just completed a type of coup against the Democrat President of the United States. It’s not just Republicans who are making this case.
Instead, it is increasingly clear that he didn’t leave his reelection campaign willingly. A once-defiant Biden was essentially threatened and forcibly removed from the race.
Former Ohio Democrat congressman Dennis Kucinich says he worries the process has “the resemblance of a coup.”
Ron Klain, Biden’s senior and closest advisor for many years, his former chief of staff, admitted on X: ”the donors and electeds [sic] have pushed out the only candidate who has ever beaten Trump.”
Among other indicators, some point to the letter posted to Biden’s X account, since it was on his private letterhead rather than White House stationary and signed electronically, a very odd and impersonal way to make his important announcement.
More damning, an inside source said that as calls for him to drop from the race grew, Biden insisted he would stay. Because of this, party power brokers, likely including Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, threatened to push Vice President Kamala Harris and Biden’s cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
As many of us know, the 25th amendment, under Section 4, allows for the VP and members of the cabinet to declare the president unfit to serve and force him to step down.
Although Biden immediately endorsed Harris as his successor, the source said Democratic delegates will be strongly encouraged to instead vote for Arizona senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.
While Kelly wouldn’t have a much better chance than Harris, Fox News noted that:
Switching out President Biden for someone else may not have been so much about getting someone to defeat former President Trump but rather about saving seats down-ballot. In other words, polling has revealed that Harris does not match up much better than Biden. But it may be just enough to salvage seats.
This Machiavellian maneuver might prove to be more about the House versus the presidency.
Some prominent holdouts have still yet to endorse Harris as Biden’s successor, despite less than a month until the convention and only four months until election day. Most notable among them is former President Barack Obama.
“We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead,” Obama said in a statement following Biden’s departure from the race.
He added, Democrats will pick an ‘outstanding nominee.’
The rest of the anti-Biden Democrat cabal appear to have been Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, (D-N.Y.), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif).

Reports last week noted that both Obama and Pelosi favored an “open” process to replace Biden.
The New York Post reports that: “The well-orchestrated “palace coup” to stop the faltering president seeking re-election has been in place for weeks, but stubborn Biden fought against it every step of the way…”
The anger, paranoia and frustration Biden displayed as the party elite circled around him and piled on was obvious.
According to the source, part of the “elaborate” strategy to remove Biden from the race was allowing him to debate Trump last month on live TV in Atlanta. During the atrocious 90-minute debate, Biden seemed confused, slack-jawed and even froze, turning almost everyone against him.
Despite their denials, insiders knew he would fail that very public test.
As the Post noted, following the debate, first son Hunter Biden suddenly became more involved in his father’s daily issues and insisted on attending every single meeting. The source added: “Hunter felt he [Joe Biden] was being set up and he was very concerned about his father.”
And Hunter seems to have been right.
Meanwhile, some GOP leaders, such House Speaker Mike Johnson are pushing Biden to resign from office. “He has the nuclear codes, he has major decisions to make every single hour of every single day…” Johnson said.

If prodding doesn’t work, some Republicans are threatening to do what the Democrats reportedly did and invoke the 25th to remove Biden from the White House effective immediately.
NBC Chicago reported:
At least one congresswoman, Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina, has talked about removing him from office using the 25th Amendment.
“If Joe Biden does not have the cognitive ability to seek reelection, he does not have the cognitive ability to serve the remainder of his term,” Mace said in a social media post on Sunday. “Tomorrow I will introduce a resolution calling on Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th amendment and assume the duties of acting President.

This simply confirms the fact that Biden has been a sock puppet all along, as he has for his entire political career. And that the Democrat party is a conspiracy of backroom power brokers.
