ANALYSIS – Be afraid, very afraid. Tim Walz, the far-left radical, and dishonorable National Guard veteran, chosen by Kamala Harris to be her vice presidential running mate is dangerously pro-China and has deep ties to the regime.
He also speaks some Mandarin Chinese. Could Walz also have been compromised by Chinese state security? That is very possible.
His long record of defending the repressive communist dictatorship, praising the Chinese people, and his time living in Red China, should make all Americans worry. Especially now, as the chance of war with China grows daily.
“I've lived in China, and as I've said, I've been there about 30 times … I don't fall into the category that China necessarily needs to be an adversarial relationship. I totally disagree,” Walz said in an interview with Agri-Pulse in 2016.
Of course, Walz is dead wrong.
James Hutton, a former assistant secretary at the Department of Veterans Affairs, noted on X, “Tim Walz doesn't see China as a problem,” adding: Communist tyranny may not be a bad thing to Walz, but the rest of the world knows,” Hutton said. “Walz is dangerous.”
Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance just said of Walz: “This is a guy who has proposed shipping more manufacturing jobs to China, [who] wants to make America more reliant on garbage energy instead of American energy.”
Walz' China love fest appears to have begun in the 1980s, prodding him to live and teach in China from 1989 to 1990. This, as part of the WorldTeach program based out of Harvard University.
He was reportedly one of the first Americans accepted into the program. During his time there Walz travelled all over China — working in Macau six times and traveling to Tiananmen Square, the site of the 1989 protest massacre.
And, yet, despite the brutal anti-democracy repression that occurred there, Walz was so enamored with China that he and his wife Gwen even honeymooned there.
He and his wife also had a business taking students to the country on trips for years using scholarships funded by the communist regime. The company, Educational Travel Adventures, created in 1994, organized student trips for almost ten years, until 2003.
Walz told students to “downplay their American-ness” while they were in China.
The Daily Mail reported: “Michael Sobolik, senior fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council, said it was “notable” that “the Chinese government funded Tim Walz's student exchange trips to China in the 90s.”
By Walz's own admission, it was unusual that the government “paid a large part of the cost.”
As a teacher back in the United States, Walz had a Chinese banner in his office.
The New York Post reported:
Walz and his wife, Gwen Whipple, went on to work in China exchange programs with Beijing in 1994, providing seven high school students in Nebraska help with traveling to China and adapting to Chinese culture, according to the Alliance Times-Herald in 1993.
The governor has since traveled to China extensively with his wife, continued to speak positively about the country and said the US should not view it as an “adversary.”
While Walz has at times criticized Specific human rights abuses in China, he has never taken any strong actions against the regime. Instead, his comments have been mostly positive.
And, in 2019, just before the deadly Wuhan virus was unleashed on the world, the then-newly elected Minnesota governor posted on X calling for then-President Trump to end the trade war with China.
Richard Grenell, who was Acting Director of National intelligence (DNI) and served as an ambassador in the Trump administration, on Tuesday called Walz “pro-China,” adding that “Communist China is very happy” with his candidacy.
Of course, the establishment media quickly downplayed Walz' pro-China sentiments. The Washington Post headline on Wednesday read: “Walz has a long history with China. But he's not ‘pro-China.'”
To me, that's just further confirmation that he is a pro-China stooge.

Being all of this is known! Why are the elected Republicans and NRC so closed mouth about
this and all the other problems concerning the Democratic Ticket? How about the administration’s
deplorable 3 1/2 year record? They must think the national news will bring these things up! Don’t
they know the national news is too busy trying to flip and spin all the lame brain moves the Democrats
have put this country through! Surely our Republican Congressmen and Senators aren’t that naive?
Get out from under porch and bark like a big dog! Before it’s too late!
China owns Walz just like they own Biden and many other politicians.
Elite Globalist. Minnesota has a 8.5% foreign born population. And he just keeps taking them in, giving them Driver’s Licenses AND the illegal alien vote.
Americans can’t possibly want China running our government. Harris/Walz would be a disaster for our country.
