ANALYSIS – Just north of New York state, in French-speaking Quebec, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is facing the scourge of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) harassing Canadian citizens and residents.
They are also guilty of engaging in unlawful foreign election interference and influence operations.
The United States is also facing a similar CCP scourge in some of our major cities. Maybe we should be applying similar practices here.
The RCMP (also affectionately known as ‘Mounties') is Canada's national police force also akin to our FBI.
While Toronto, British Columbia (BC) and Alberta have the largest Chinese and Hong Kong immigrant populations in Canada (820,000, 550,000, and 164,000 respectively), the RCMP is focusing a new program to counter the CCP in Quebec, which has the fourth largest population with 115,000.
The program is geared toward identifying and combating CCP harassment and political interference in Canada's Chinese expat communities, starting with Quebec.
The RCMP has identified two suspected secret Chinese police stations in Quebec, while three are reported in the Greater Toronto Area. And in B.C. two have been identified, one of which was uncovered by The Epoch Times.
The Epoch Times reported:
Michel Juneau-Katsuya, former chief of the Asia-Pacific unit at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), says the fact that the program has been launched only in Quebec doesn't necessarily mean the CCP is significantly more active in its harassment tactics in that province compared to other parts of Canada. Rather, he credits the Quebec RCMP for taking leadership and being more proactive.
The intelligence professional adds: “that this also doesn't necessarily mean Quebec's political class as a whole is more vigilant regarding the CCP threat than the rest of the country, but rather it is a credit to the RCMP unit there.
However, others note that the Chinese Consulate, and some pro-Beijing activists in Montreal, may want to compete with their peers in Toronto and Vancouver, making them more aggressive in its targeting of diaspora members there than elsewhere in the country.
Or some of the groups in Toronto and Vancouver may be keeping a lower profile than the more aggressive colleagues in Quebec.
According to The Epoch Times (ET):
The [RCMP] program was launched in early July and features social media videosin Chinese, French, and English, with the Quebec RCMP announcing that it is actively engaged in investigating Chinese interference in the province. It also features uniformed officers going into the Chinese community and encouraging people to report cases of harassment by the Beijing regime.
An RCMP spokesperson in Quebec previously told The Epoch Times that the program helps to overcome a “climate of terror that prevails” and to let the community members know that they don't have to remain silent in the face of threats.
Juneau-Katsuya added, according to ET: “‘They have, for example, initiated patrols in the streets of Montreal, where the [Chinese] community is located, in Chinatown, when it was reported to them that some people were trying to intimidate the community and shop owners.”
Hopefully this program will soon go national. Former Conservative MP Kenny Chiu, told The Epoch Times: “The RCMP is a national police force, and therefore I don't see why they will only do it in Quebec and not the rest of the country.”
Then, maybe the FBI in conjunction with local and state police can implement a similar system here.

Thank goodness at least the RCMP hasn’t succumbed to the Leftists. I don’t see anything similar happening here, as the CCP already seems to be running the Democrats, are buying up American businesses from food service to solar panel manufacturing and scooping up farmland and real estate, not to mention “Chinese Police Stations” already here.

Interfering in another country’s election is an act of war and should be responded to accordingly.
Maybe our government, the one that comes along after the communist democrat party falls apart, needs to follow the lead of the Canadian Mounted Police. It will not happen now because Biden and Harris are in bed together. In Harris’s case that could be literally.
Route the CCP out of our country, confiscate all the hard assets they have bought, sell all those assets to the highest true American bidder, boot all of the Communist illegals out of the USA their right to do business with the USA. The only items we should allow to be made in China for us should be on the tampon level. Nothing that has anything to do with our infrastructure should come from China and that includes any future production of electric vehicles. We need to come up with a new battery to replace the lithium battery and it needs to be made in the USA first then we can decide who we want to sell the manufacturing rights too. China should not get those rights. Our people need to start acting like they are loyal to the USA.
