MSNBC Host Scolds Guest Over Accepted Term In Immigration Debate

Over the weekend, host interrupted a discussion about illegal immigration.

Since then, Johan Jose Rangel Martinez and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos have been charged with capital murder in the tragic death of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. Border Patrol had caught and released both Martinez and Ramos shortly before Nungaray's murder.

The Incident on “The Weekend”

During a segment on MSNBC's “The Weekend,” Sanders-Townsend scolded one of her guests for using the term “illegal.” She argued, “We don't use the term illegal… They're undocumented individuals.”

The guest in question, Heritage Foundation President , sharply retorted, “That's sweet, they're illegal aliens,” refusing to comply with Sanders' request.

Anti-Trump former Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair Michael Steele chided Roberts as well, saying, “What you're saying is because you have this instance of individuals behaving badly then that's a reflection of every individual in that community.”
