Israel’s Gaza Refugee Camp ‘Massacre’ Caused By Hamas Bombs: Report

-

ANALYSIS – Anytime the media goes off about the latest (IDF) “massacre” or “war ” in Gaza, wait at least 24 hours before forming an opinion. This is the minimum time it takes for more accurate information to come out debunking the false anti-Israel narrative. Recall the news of the supposed Israeli bombing of the Al Ahli Arab Hospital early in the war that killed hundreds and the media spread recklessly. This quickly turned out to be a Palestinian terror rocket misfiring and exploding on its own people, hitting a parking lot and only killing a dozen.

Now we have the latest example: news of a “massive Israeli aerial attack” on a Palestinian refugee camp that killed dozens of innocent civilians, except that it really wasn't.

Palestinian officials said at least 45 people had been killed and more than 200 injured after fires and explosions triggered by the strike ripped through a U.N. facility for displaced people in 's Tal al-Sultan neighborhood.

Unfortunately, the real culprit appears to be Palestinian terrorists hiding stockpiles of deadly munitions and other combustibles near the camp, which exploded after being hit by the small Israeli bombs. (RELATED: Hamas Savages Slaughter 40 Israeli Babies, Some Beheaded)

These much larger secondary explosions likely caused the fire, not the small Israeli bombs.

But this didn't stop mainstream liberal media sources from reporting the incident in the worst possible light for Israel, based solely on Palestinian sources, without getting confirmation.

NBC News for example, reported:

Dozens of people were killed in Rafah in southern Gaza late Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on an area where displaced civilians were sheltering in tents. The strike sparked a fire that tore across the camp, local officials said.

Images showed the area engulfed in flames as screaming Palestinians fled for safety, with some video shared on social media showing disturbing images, including severely burned corpses and a man holding what appeared to be the headless body of a small child.

The strike drew condemnation from world leaders just days after the United Nations' top court ordered Israel to halt its offensive on the southern Gaza city, where more than a million people had sought refuge.

Meanwhile, the IDF said that it had targeted two senior Hamas leaders near the camp with a precise strike but that it did not hit a designated humanitarian “safe” area that was over a mile away.

The IDF added that it took steps to reduce the risk of harming civilians.

“We took a number of steps prior to the strike to avoid civilian casualties. Aerial surveillance, using specific munitions to minimize collateral damage, delaying the attack to further assess the expected civilian presence and other means,” the spokesman said.

There was also a Hamas rocket launcher positioned very close to the civilian camp. (RELATED: Murdered Israeli Hostages At Gaza Hospital Used As Human Shields)

The IDF said a full investigation would be conducted into “the deaths of civilians in the area of the strike,” but based on analysis of overhead imagery, communications intercepts and open-source information, a more accurate picture of the incident quickly began to emerge. Watch the detailed briefing by the IDF spokesman in this video.

Also note communications intercept made by the IDF and linked in the post on X below. The post reads:

The Israel Defense Force has released a Phone Call which was Intercepted between Two Residents of Gaza who state that Sunday's Nights Explosion and Fire at the Palestinian Refugee Camp in Western Rafah, resulted from possible Shrapnel from the Israeli Airstrike on a Group of Senior Hamas Members, who were over 180 Meters from the Camp, causing the Detonation of Hamas Munitions which had been Hidden inside or near the Refugee Camp.

Additional information provided by the IDF noted that Israeli jets also used two small munitions in the precision strike, each with a 37 pound (17-kilogram) warhead, to limit civilian casualties, given the close proximity to the camp for displaced Palestinians. The IDF spokesman added that these are “the smallest munitions that our jets can use.”

The two very small air dropped bombs on their own would not have been enough to spark the fire, according to the IDF.
