ANALYSIS – ‘He Lied' – Kamala Harris and Tim Walz cannot get away from the fact that Walz is a dishonest liar and coward. This goes directly to Harris' judgement in picking him as her running mate.
And JD Vance is making sure the record is made straight.
Most recently, Vance demolished CNN's liberal host Dana Bash's feeble attempt to defend Walz from claims that he didn't know his unit was deploying to Iraq when he suddenly and sleazily retired from the National Guard.
As the Daily Wire reported:
When Bash tried to claim that Walz did not know that his unit was deploying to Iraq when he put in his paperwork to quit, Vance noted that just a couple of days ago that Walz's commanding officer told CNN that Walz did know that he was deploying when he submitted the paperwork.
“He knew he was going to Iraq. He decided to quit,” Vance noted. “He lied about that. He said that, when he decided to retire, he did not know that he was going to Iraq. That is another untruth, as even his senior military officer said. So, again, I'm not criticizing the service. I'm criticizing the dishonesty, dishonesty spoken in favor and for the purpose of political benefit.”
“And I think that the most important thing here, Dana, is, it goes to Kamala Harris' judgment,” he continued. “Tim Walz is ultimately going to be the vice president — Kamala Harris is in great health, I'm sure she's going to be president — if she wins for four or maybe even eight years. Why did Kamala Harris choose a person who has lied about their military service? I think that is a serious lapse in judgment.”
The biased CNN host then tried to defend Walz by saying that “a lot” of veterans were defending Walz, saying it was “untoward to be criticizing” him.
But Vance was having nothing of it, retorting: “Dana, I'm not interested in the ad hominem. I have heard from a lot of veterans' groups who criticized Tim Walz.” Vance added:
The question is, he said he served in war, and he didn't. That is dishonesty. I really — I couldn't care less what one or the other person says about it. I care about what the truth is. The truth is that Tim Walz didn't tell the truth.
Meanwhile, it isn't just Walz' commanding officer who says he knew his unit was deploying, the chaplain of Walz's field artillery regiment said the Democratic VP abandoned his National Guard unit prior to heading for Iraq, and running for Congress was no excuse.
The New York Post reported:
“In our world, to drop out after a WARNORD [warning order] is issued is cowardly, especially for a senior enlisted guy,” retired Capt. Corey Bjertness, now a pastor in Horace, North Dakota, told The Post.
Bjertness, 61, was the chaplain for the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery, of which Walz was command sergeant major before retiring in 2005, two months before the unit deployed to Iraq.
At a campaign stop in Michigan on Wednesday, Vance again rightly accused Walz of abandoning his unit before it deployed to Iraq in 2006.
“When the United State Marine Corps, when the United States of America asked me to go to Iraq to serve my country, I did it. I did what they asked me to do, and I did it honorably and I'm very proud of that service. When Tim Walz was asked by his country to go to Iraq, you know what he did? He dropped out of the Army and allowed his unit to go without him,” Vance said.

Vance is excellent at calling out the corrupt, biased journalists. Their partisan crap is why I will never watch CNN, MSNBC or the networks again.
waltz is a disgrace to the uniform of the U S Army. he showed that he is a coward not worthy of holding and elected office. He allowed criminals to loot and burn a major city in Mn . His refusal to quickly act to the open violence destroyed private and gov property.
