‘Misconduct’ – Was Democrat Judge ‘Planted’ On Trump Trials?

-

ANALYSIS – “Not random at all.” From the start of the ridiculous legal cases against former President , most reasonable people have seen it for what it was: a clear attempt at using “lawfare” (politicized legal action) against the GOP front-runner.

And one GOP congresswoman is trying to uncover just how corrupt the process against Trump has been.

No where has this been more obvious than in the current criminal “hush money” trial against Trump in (NYC).

Here the charges are ludicrous. We have an expired statute of limitations on misdemeanors, and the Trump-hating, Soros-funded, Manhattan DA, , charging Trump with multiple felonies for essentially bookkeeping errors.

Those are Trumped-up charges if ever there were any (pun intended). And we have a tainted NYC jury pool that is likely almost all Democrat.

But in order to sway this outrageous persecution further, Democrats needed a judge who would play ball and sit on the scales of justice to hurt Trump's case.

Judges for these cases are supposed to be randomly selected. But somehow, we got Acting Justice , a rabid Democrat judge if there ever was one.

This is why Rep. (R-N.Y.) filed a misconduct complaint Tuesday against Merchan, alleging that his selection to handle the former president's case – and other related ones – is “not random at all.”

Merchan has been openly beneficial to the prosecution and should have recused himself from day one.

Note that Acting Justice Merchan also presided over the criminal trial against the Trump Organization and will be presiding over the criminal trial of , a former senior advisor and prominent advocate for President Trump.

He should not be sitting on this one.

“If justices were indeed being randomly assigned in the Criminal Term, the probability of two specific criminal cases being assigned to the same justice is quite low, and the probability of three specific criminal cases being assigned to the same justice is infinitesimally small. And yet, we see Acting Justice Merchan on all three cases,” Stefanik argued in her complaint.

She added that:

based on the courtroom directory there are at least 24 sitting justices on the court.  Acting Justice Merchan is not even listed among them, one assumes, because of his status as an acting justice.

Meanwhile, Merchan contributed to major Democrat groups including the “Biden for President” campaign, the “Progressive Turnout Project” and “Stop Republicans,” Federal Election Commission records show.

Stop Republicans describes itself as “a grassroots-funded effort dedicated to resisting the and Donald Trump's radical right-wing legacy.”

And then there is the judge's daughter, Loren Merchan, who is deeply involved in Democrat  as head of the consulting firm Authentic Campaigns.

Stefanik argues that Loren Merchan's “firm stands to profit greatly if Donald Trump is convicted.”

The congresswoman demanded an investigation into the “anomaly” of Merchan being “randomly” selected to so many Trump cases, and to uncover whether there was any sort of “scheme” to get Merchan on the three cases.

Stefanik wrote:

And yet, we see Acting Justice Merchan on all three cases.

Stefanik ends her complaint by requesting that:

…both the Commission and the Inspector General investigate this anomaly to determine whether the required random selection process was in fact followed in the assignment of these criminal cases to Acting Justice Merchan. If Acting Justice Merchan or any other Justices of the Court are found to have violated these rules, I would hope that the Commission would subject them to the required discipline. And if any non-judicial employees of the Court are involved in such a scheme, I would hope that the Inspector General subject them to the appropriate sanction.
