Not so fast…
Kamala Harris confirmed on Thursday her participation in one debate before this year's election, which is two fewer than what former President Donald Trump is proposing.
A campaign official said Harris would not agree to the September 4 presidential debate on Fox News that was floated by Trump, ABC News correspondent Selina Wang shared in a post to X.
Earlier, Trump and his campaign revealed plans to participate in three debates next month, including the ABC and Fox events. They said the third one would be held by NBC News on September 25.
“We have spoken to the heads of the networks and it's all been confirmed other than some fairly minor details,” Trump said.
“The other side has to agree to the terms,” he added, referring to the Harris campaign. “They may or may not agree. I don't know. She hasn't done an interview. She can't do an interview. She's barely competent. She can't do an interview, but I look forward to the debates because we have to set the record straight.”
Harris later told NBC News that she was “looking forward” to the debate on September 10, and ABC News affirmed that both parties had agreed to attend the event.
Trump also said that CBS would host the vice presidential debate between his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), and Harris' pick, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. CBS has yet to confirm a date.

The queen of prevarication, ostensibly agrees to one debate but then waffles on others saying “we’ll have that conversation”. To the ignorant, in her parlance, that means, “I’m afraid to debate Trump, so I won’t commit” or ” When I get creamed in the first debate, I don’t want to add insult to injury by committing to others”. Remember she STILL. hasn’t done a sit-down, incisive interview with anyone either before of after her ascension to the candidacy. She hasn’t met with staff for many months and 92% of that staff have left since she was installed as VP. Come on, people, she’s ill-equipped, uninformed and ignorant of the characteristics to hold office in any capacity. She’s an empty pant suit who was coronated by Obama-ites to be the face of the Dems to replace the addled, Schmoe Biden. But she can’t replace his catastrophic records on the country’s ISSUES. Even her supporters can’t name any accomplishments amongst the fear and loathing in the nation since 2020.
Trump has to be the worst politician I have seen. He has no idea how to captuire the high ground. We she said she wanted to reduce taxes on tips,
his response shoud have put her on the defensive by saying something like, “I’m glad she likes my idea. Now if she will just use her powers as Border Szar
to close the border. Then she could open federal lands to drilling, deport the millions of illegals she let in, resind her get out free bond for criminals,
arrest known Islamic terrorists, and correct the liberal policies that she and Biden weaseld into government agencies, we would be well on our way to
making America great again.
The Dems already agreed to the 3 debates back when Joe Biden was running. Now Kamila will only agree to one? Sounds like a set up. If I’m Trump I compromise with two or none. I don’t trust that Marxist woman to keep her word. It goes along with the Karl Marx teaching that if you tell a lie enough times, people will believe it.
