A Springfield, Ohio, homeless advocate told the city council this week that landlords are evicting longtime tenants and replacing them with Haitian migrants to enrich themselves. According to the advocate, he personally knows someone who lived in a home for seven years before being displaced under the pretext of renovations, only to be replaced by a Haitian tenant. The landlord reportedly charged the government triple the rent using housing vouchers.
“I don't know of a single homeless Haitian in this town because they all got vouchers! But I can show you a whole bunch of people that have been displaced,” the advocate claimed. His statements have not been verified, but concerns over the influx of 15,000 to 20,000 legal migrants in a town of less than 60,000 have led Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to send additional aid and law enforcement personnel to Springfield.
Tensions escalated on Thursday when a bomb threat, reportedly containing hateful language directed at Haitian migrants, was emailed to Springfield City Hall and other facilities. This prompted the closure of city hall and evacuation of nearby areas. Authorities asked the community to temporarily avoid the area and report any suspicious activity.
Additionally, children from Fulton Elementary School were evacuated to Springfield High School on Thursday as a precaution based on “information received from the State Fire Marshal.” A school district representative confirmed that the students and staff were safe and that only Fulton Elementary had been affected. The school initiated a controlled release to dismiss students to their parents.

According to Google, “Political violence and violent crimes are common in Haiti, including murders, robberies, assaults, vehicle break-ins, and home invasions. Travelers are often targeted, followed, and violently attacked and robbed shortly after leaving the Port-au-Prince international airport.” Naive to think that 20,000 Haitians put into a small, American town with limited resources or policing would not be in danger. As to landlords putting people out in order to rent to Haitians, paid by government, not nice, but it is the government that is forcing people to find “creative” ways to survive until rational administration is restored. Anyone not voting pure Republican this election cycle is either an idiot or self-hater.
Why would any government entity in their right mond saturate any town by 200%
And expect tax paying residents to support it?
Are these invaders vetting, coming w clean bill of health,? Sworn statements as to their allegiance to the flag and USA?
Given a 30 day mandatory course in their native language of how they are expected to peacefully integrate? Follow the laws? Etc etc
If the answer is now, not only have we failed the American citizens living in such communities, we have failed the entire immigration process of taking in illegals vs foreigners waiting in line lawfully to enter the USA.
180 days mandatory jail time for all crimes. No trial needed when you cause an accident, are caught on cameras breaking the law, etc etc
Actions come w consequences. Period
