Jeffrey Veltri, the senior FBI official investigating the second assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, is under scrutiny following whistleblower complaints about his outspoken anti-Trump views. The Washington Times reported Tuesday that Veltri allegedly made multiple inflammatory anti-Trump posts on Facebook before his promotion to head the FBI Miami Field Office. Agents were reportedly instructed to scrub his social media presence before he could assume his new role.
One whistleblower told the House Judiciary Committee that FBI Director Christopher A. Wray, Deputy Director Paul Abbate and Executive Assistant Director Jennifer Moore were all involved in directing Veltri to clean up his online activity:
Tristan Leavitt, an FBI whistleblower attorney and president of the nonprofit watchdog group Empower Oversight, said Mr. Veltri held his position as deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Security Division when “the so-called ‘Trump Questionnaire’ was used.”
“His bias against conservatives and those of his deputy, Dena Perkins, permeated the unit,” Mr. Leavitt wrote recently on X.

“The home of President Donald Trump is located in the area of responsibility of the Miami Field Office. It was well known that Veltri was adamantly and vocally Anti-Trump,” said the whistleblower disclosure to Congress, which The Times has obtained.
“Wray, Abbate and Moore wanted to ensure that Veltri appeared non-political, Veltri was ordered to remove all of his Facebook and Social media posts that were Anti-Trump.”
On Monday, Veltri provided updates on the West Palm Beach assassination attempt. He confirmed that the U.S. attorney’s office is pursuing charges against the alleged would-be assassin, Ryan Routh. After being transferred back to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Routh invoked his right to an attorney, preventing further FBI questioning.
The FBI’s Honolulu and Charlotte Field Offices have begun interviewing Routh’s family members, friends and former colleagues. Several specialized teams from FBI Headquarters and Quantico’s Lab Division are also processing evidence tied to the investigation.
Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that the state is conducting its own investigation into the assassination attempt, stating that it is not in the state or nation’s best interest to have federal agencies – some of which are also pursuing legal action against Trump – leading the inquiry.
Q: "What kind of information do you think a state investigation will reveal that a federal investigation may not?"

Good for Ron he is going to be putting the pressure on the “LYING FBI” to have to tell the truth. If the State comes up with something different then the FBI we all know who the liar will be.
Damn IT Get these Never Trumpers OUT of the SS FBI CIA NSA etc or Nothing gets done
Like…scrubbing Veltri’s Facebook page and social media posts that revealed he is anti-conservative/anti-Trump? By the FBI top officials instructing him to “Clean up” his online statements already knew his bias! This means they are part of the cover up who this guy was prior to appointing him to “investgate” the assassination attempt on Trump! They all need to be removed from their leadership roles, top-down house cleaning!
