Kamala Harris has been exposed for plagiarism in her first book by a world famous expert in the field, raising further concerns about her integrity.

Dr. Stefan Weber, an internationally famous “plagiarism hunter,” has discovered that Kamala Harris “plagiarized at least a dozen sections of her criminal justice book, Smart on Crime,” Christopher Rufo reports.
The 2009 work of non-fiction, co-authored with Joan O’C Hamilton was, per Wikipedia, “[f]irst published as Harris (then the San Francisco district attorney) was beginning her 2010 campaign for California Attorney General” and “outlines her vision of how the criminal justice system should function.“
Harris isn’t the first Democrat to be caught in a scandal of this nature. In addition to plagiarizing her first published book, she was accused of plagiarizing Joe Biden’s campaign policies (who was himself accused of plagiarism decades earlier) while simultaneously trying to distance herself from his administration.

This is a very big deal, especially for a presidential candidate three weeks from Election Day. Have we ever had a presidential candidate busted for such naked acts of plagiarism before? As a matter of fact, we have. Back in 1988, Joe Biden’s serial plagiarism cost him any chance of surviving the Democrat primary.
While some mainstream media outlets have been forced to acknowledge her misdeeds, they have largely minimized and dismissed them in a manner that is difficult to interpret as anything but politically motivated, as it’s almost impossible to imagine these same publications treating revelations about Trump or Vance the same way.
Instead of focusing on the substance of what was revealed, the New York Times chose to fixate on the man who made the discoveries and whether his motivations were rooted in racism.
In an excerpt from the New York Times article about about Harris’s plagiarism, they imply that because Rufo has exposed black Diversity, Equity & Inclusion proponents as plagiarists and frauds, his work is racially motivated.
“Mr. Rufo is part of a loose confederation of conservative writers and activists who, during the past year, have tried to expose plagiarism among academics, many of whom have been Black scholars who work in the field of diversity and inclusion. … Some academics … have characterized the campaign as racist.”

The Times reported that the plagiarism was real, but claimed that it was “not serious.” The Times article is titled “Conservative Activist Seizes on Passages From Harris Book,” with the sub-headline: “A report by Christopher Rufo says the Democratic presidential nominee copied five short passages for her 2009 book on crime. A plagiarism expert said the lapses were not serious.”
Lying, plagiarizing, cheating. That is what the democrat party and their mainstream media wing do. Harris is nothing like she and they portray her to be. She doesn’t flip flop, that would be changing her positions, she is still the same San Francisco radical leftist she has always been.and just lies to sound moderate.. Can the American people be fooled? Stand by.
You can’t blame her for what her ghost writer did, now can you?
I absolutely DO blame her for what she allowed to be done in her name.
That said, I doubt she would recognize “her” book if someone read it to her.
Ghost writer or not, Harris is the source of all that goes in the book. Whatever appears in her book, she is responsible for. If she puts her name on cover, she has approved its content. Uncle Joe learned that lesson the hard way. She needed a ghost writer who could sort out the meat and potatoes while eliminating the word salad Harris is so well known for.
