Skylar Deleon, formerly known as John Jacobson Jr., who gained notoriety for the 2009 murders of a married couple, recently underwent gender transition surgery while serving a life sentence in a California prison. The procedure, funded by taxpayers, has ignited a firestorm regarding the use of public funds for treatments involving convicted felons.
Brutal Double Murder
Deleon was convicted for the murders of Thomas and Jackie Hawks, a couple he lured onto their yacht under the pretense of purchasing the vessel. Once aboard, he and two accomplices overpowered them, tied them to the yacht’s anchor and threw them into the ocean, leaving them to drown. As the anchor and his victims sank to the seabed, Jacobson grabbed a beer and began to fish.
Prison Transition and Surgery
Since being incarcerated, Deleon has received hormone therapy as part of the gender transition process. Last year, his treatment culminated in a full gender transition surgery. The operation was funded by California taxpayers. Deleon is currently awaiting a transfer to a female correctional facility, which has added further concerns about prison safety and costs related to housing transgender inmates.

The Washington Free Beacon has more details on the controversial incarceration of California’s infamous “Yacht Killer”:
“I wanted the surgery, and I knew I 100 percent wanted the surgery,” Jacobson told ABC News.
Last year, Jacobson’s dreams came true when California taxpayers footed the bill for his gender transition surgery, a move made possible thanks to policies and precedents set during Kamala Harris’s time as the state’s attorney general.
“I did receive gender affirming surgery and breast augmentation on April 5th 2023,” Jacobson, who now goes by Skylar Deleon, wrote in a letter to the Washington Free Beacon. That letter was sent in response to a Free Beacon inquiry into the status of his transition. Jacobson said he is now awaiting transfer to a women’s prison from San Quentin.
Harris’s support for inmates like Jacobson emerged as a campaign issue when a CNN report revealed that she pledged in a 2019 ACLU questionnaire to support taxpayer-funded sex-change surgeries for illegal immigrants and prisoners in federal custody. But her history on the issue dates back to at least 2015, during her stint as the Golden State’s top cop—a period that Harris has cited on the campaign trail as proof of her tough-on-crime approach.
Then-Senator Harris’ support for using federal funds for gender reassignment procedures for inmates, including illegal immigrants, has since sparked further controversy.
This is incredible…

This guy/gal should be thankful to Kamala and Newsom.
This is the kind of crap Harris fought on California and will bring on our country if we allow her to.
