In Lockland, Ohio, a small town of just 3,400 residents, the rapid influx of migrants has created a crisis that has left many longtime residents feeling the need to relocate. With around 3,000 migrants—primarily from the African nation of Mauritania—arriving in a short span, the community is struggling to cope with the challenges posed by this sudden demographic shift.

Lockland, Ohio, a town of just 3,400 residents, has been swamped with 3,000 illegal migrants — mostly from the African, majority Muslim, country of Mauritania — and the sudden influx in just a few short years has pushed the town’s services and budgets to the breaking point, not to mention sent the town into chaos.
Mayor Mark Mason Sr. has voiced serious concerns about the town’s ability to manage the unprecedented number of newcomers. He pointed out that many of the migrants are indigent and unable to contribute economically, placing additional strain on local services and infrastructure, attributing a rapid uptick of fires to unfamiliarity with electric stoves and high grease usage in cooking among the migrants. These incidents have led to a dramatic surge in emergency responses, further stretching the town’s limited resources.
Mason explained, “Our fire and paramedic services have been stressed. Since they moved into these apartment complexes, a lot of the longtime residents have moved out because of multiple fires. It’s been caused by their not understanding how to cook on stoves, and they use high levels of grease in their cooking, which have caused multiple fire.”

A resident named Kelly told Fox News that her apartment complex has earned the nickname “the African village,” due to the number of Mauritanians now living there. She also noted that they don’t have experience with the electric stoves in the units and their cooking has started numerous fires, causing a repeated presence of the city’s fire department and EMT crews.
Mason went on to add, “And so a lot of people don’t want to subject their families to unsafe conditions in these apartment complexes. So, therefore, they’ve moved out – the working residents – and they have moved in. And most don’t have jobs, they don’t contribute to society. They don’t contribute to your earnings tax base. And it’s a real concern.”
He also mentioned that male migrants made a habit of congregating in public spaces in groups as large as 50, and they were making the women of Lockland feel uncomfortable and unsafe with unwelcome advances.
“If you’re going to let immigrants just come over freely, you’ve got to educate them on the cultural differences in how things operate here and make them understand that some of the things that maybe you’re used to in Mauritania [isn’t] necessarily acceptable here in the United States,” Mason explained.
The crisis in Lockland is part of a broader national issue, with many small towns across the U.S. facing similar challenges as a result of federal immigration policies. A recent report from the House Judiciary Committee has revealed that the Biden administration, in collaboration with the United Nations, has facilitated the entry of hundreds of thousands of migrants through programs like the Safe Mobility Initiative. This initiative aims to streamline the process for migrants to enter the U.S. while avoiding the politically charged situation at the southern border.

Mayor Mason has criticized the federal government for failing to support communities like Lockland, stating, “Shame on the federal government for allowing this to happen to small communities like ours.”
Horrible! How can a small town of 3,400 get an additional 3,000 illegals? This is CRAZY & if the left remains in power, it’s done for America as we knew it.
there have been immigration laws that have been ignored in this. These apparently not been processed at the border but have sidestepped the immigration process totally. these are not temporary residents and are not going back to their native country. during a normal immigration process for naturalization there is a 5 year period where the applicant can understand the language, social conventions, laws, US history, US rights and duties. then they pass written and oral tests. they have just dumped a population that does not even understand an electric stove. there should be some naturalization requirements for these refugees, if they do not train to blend in, then move them back to where they came from. this is an added affront on the US citizens to be swamped not only with illegal border crossing but to also have these emergency resettlements be paid for by the taxpayer.
Democrats continue to allow migrant illegal immigrants from African nations to flood our cities in America. If you are voting for Kamala Harris expect it to continue to happen. It’s become apparent that like Bidens campaign, hiding in the basement not creating a great deal of excitement for his campaign, while Trump was everywhere campaigning throughout the United Staters. Kamala’s campaign although she has in person showed up to rallies throughout the United States, she is still hiding what actually she stands for, no policy for the turning of the page Democrat who for 3.5 years is really a ghost herself. No one knows what she stands for, only evasive answers to straight forward questions asked of her. To this day she is relying on surrogates who attend Democratic functions who stipulate what they say she will do. Trump wears his policies on his sleeve, talking constantly about his intentions and his policies. Unfortunately, we will see tomorrow how ignorant the American voter is if she wins, substance over rhetoric she has fed her Democratic voters, still not sure of what she will do but plainly her 3.5 years she has only a history of failure and incompetence. I pray for America and hope the media who has said from the very beginning this is a razor thin race is wrong. Trump should be voted in by a landslide. God hopefully is helping the people see the light of reason and indeed vote RED.
