On Monday morning, MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough delivered a pointed critique of attendees at recent Trump rallies, questioning their values and backgrounds in a strongly worded segment. The former Republican congressman expressed his frustration with the behavior of rally participants, voicing his disbelief at the social and moral standards of those supporting the former president.
“Who are these people? Where are they coming from? Who raised them?” Scarborough asked, calling into question the upbringing and influences of Trump supporters. Emphasizing his own disapproval, he noted, “I will ask the question that I think is a fair question to ask: Who raised these people? Because they were not raised by anybody in my neighborhoods that I grew up in.”

Scarborough has a history of making provocative comments toward those living outside Manhattan. After the New York Post broke the Hunter Biden laptop story in October 2020, he said of those who believed it: “History will expose you all as idiots and useful fools for the Russians.”

Former President Donald Trump has faced two assassination attempts during this election cycle, both perpetrated by individuals reportedly convinced of his fascist tendencies. In July 2024, during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a gunman opened fire, injuring Trump and killing a spectator before being neutralized by Secret Service agents. A subsequent attempt occurred in September 2024 at Trump’s Florida golf course, where a suspect was apprehended with a rifle after fleeing the premises.
Amid these incidents, Scarborough has continued to make contentious remarks about Trump. He suggested that Trump might attempt to take television stations off the air and imprison people arbitrarily. Later, he labeled Trump a “threat to democracy” and compared him to Adolf Hitler.
The latest statements by Scarborough highlight the heated state of American politics as the election season enters its final hours.

How does JOE stay on the air? He is DISGUSTING. I am a Trump supporter and I am truly offended and I don’t get offended easily. He needs to be fired immediately.

Morning Joe was way off base this morning by stating he could not believe people raised their kids to be able to agree with Trump. Stating, what kind of parents would do such thing. My question is why he claimed to be a republican then went totally left. His parents must have been totally raised in some sort of mental institution to leave this type of twisted mind as Joe has. He is a total piece of crap. Best thing is, very few people watch his show. I think most watch it so they can see how badly he treats his honey and she is not knowledgeable to realize it. Once again, joe is a piece of crap.

It has been awfully difficult to take Scarborough seriously when all that comes from his diatribes is name calling and, for the most part, crude insults directed toward anyone who chooses not to share his far left opinions. He does so by bending facts or making up his own to the extent that little he speaks can be believed. Couple that with his red-faced, high browed expressions of adulterated outrage, his program has become the Morning Joke of MSNBC. I’ve found far better and more thoughtful comic relief elsewhere.
