Israel’s cabinet has officially approved a U.S.-backed ceasefire proposal aimed at halting hostilities between Israel and Lebanon, according to a statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.

The agreement, brokered with the support of the United States, is intended to bring an end to the escalating conflict between Israeli forces and Hezbollah terrorists operating in Lebanon. In a statement, President Biden emphasized the significance of the deal, stating that it was negotiated “to end the devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.”

Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a cease-fire deal, President Joe Biden announced Tuesday. The agreement, which passed in a 10-1 vote in Israel’s cabinet, is set to take effect Wednesday at 4 a.m. local time, pausing the year-long conflict in southern Lebanon and northern Israel that has escalated in recent weeks. Still, Netanyahu warned earlier Tuesday that Israel would strike again if the Lebanese militant group violated the agreement. Despite the ongoing negotiations, fighting between Israel and Hezbollah ramped up Tuesday.
After President Joe Biden delivered remarks at the White House focused on the new cease-fire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, a reporter asked him if he would be able to achieve a cease-fire with Gaza before leaving office.
“I think so. I hope so. I’m praying,” Biden responded, according to the press pool.

( ASK NO QUESTIONS WILL TELL NO LIES ) If GOVERNMENTS ( PLURAL ) are involved ? then the PEOPLE for the PEOPLE of these Governments should know what we are or are not paying for, plus getting involved with.
