Authorities in Madison, Wisconsin, are responding to a mass shooting at Abundant Life Christian School, located on the 4900 block of Buckeye Road.
Reports indicate multiple injuries, though the shooting’s full extent remains unclear. Local officials have cordoned off roads in the area and are urging residents to avoid the neighborhood for their safety.

“The Madison Police Department is investigating a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School. Multiple injuries have been reported. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released as it is available,” the department said in a statement.
“We currently need people to avoid the area,” it added.
Local law enforcement scanners report that up to 12 people have been injured, and the suspected shooter has been neutralized. Details regarding the shooter’s identity or motive have not yet been released. Emergency responders remain on-site.
