Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is under fire after introducing a 1,917-page budget bill that included controversial language changes regarding parental roles and terminology. The bill, which was presented by the Wisconsin Senate’s Joint Committee on Finance earlier this week, recommended replacing the term “mother” with “inseminated person” in certain sections. These amendments, which also proposed replacing “biological father” with “natural parent,” “husband” with “spouse,” and “male” with “person,” have sparked a wave of criticism from various groups, particularly mothers and conservatives.
The bill, part of Evers’s budget recommendations for the 2025-2027 fiscal period, focuses on changes related to paternity disputes, artificial insemination, and other family law issues. However, it was the language revisions that have garnered the most attention. By proposing the term “inseminated person” in place of “mother,” the bill has drawn accusations of erasing and undermining the significance of motherhood in favor of politically correct, gender-neutral terminology.
Scarlett Johnson, a member of Wisconsin Moms for Liberty, slammed the bill as an attempt to “erase mothers,” saying, “’Mother.’ ‘Woman.’ Those are words he can’t say because the woke won’t let him.” Johnson’s comments reflect a growing frustration from conservatives with what they view as the left’s increasingly radical approach to gender identity and language.
Riley Gaines, a well-known activist and former competitive swimmer, expressed her disgust on social media, stating, “The thought of being labeled as ‘inseminated’ or ‘uninseminated’ by this creep makes my stomach turn.” She echoed concerns about the broader societal implications of language changes like these, stating, “First, we were ‘birthing persons,’ now this? What’s next—‘human incubators’?”
Others echoed this sentiment, arguing that the bill’s language was not only offensive but also undermined the value of traditional gender identities. “Being a mother is the greatest privilege I will have in my lifetime, and every mother I know feels the same,” said Sara Craig, Executive Director of the Republican Governors Association. “If Tony Evers can reduce motherhood to an ‘inseminated person,’ then our society is lost.”
Critics argue that the language proposed in Evers’s bill reflects the influence of progressive gender ideologies that prioritize gender-neutral terms over biological realities.
The debate over gender-neutral language also ties into broader national discussions about gender identity, especially in light of President Donald Trump’s return to the White House. One of Trump’s first executive orders since resuming office on January 20 was titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.” The order reaffirms the policy of recognizing only two biological sexes, male and female, and criticizes ideologues for pushing gender-neutral policies that allow individuals to self-identify as the opposite sex.

Life is cheap to “pro choice” lefties. Denying the mother-child connection is a part of promoting and normalizing the devaluation of the normal nuclear family.. Government is God.

Further evidence Wisconsin Democrats and Democrats everywhere have no respect for women, except for the right to full term abortions, nor for the family structure that has endured for thousands of years. Evil reigns within the Democrat party.
This is the kind of B.S. we get from this clown that the libs elected as Governor in WI after years of serving as Superintendent Public Instruction (as learning declined each year.) Rumor is that this tottering old fool is really the puppet of his chief of staff, Maggie Gau.
