Death ruled a suicide…
Pamela Bach, former Baywatch star and ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, was found dead at her Hollywood Hills home on Wednesday night from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the age of 62.
Her daughter, believed to be Hayley Hasselhoff, discovered the tragic scene and was understandably described as “hysterical” by a neighbor, Hiromi Osiecki.
“She was hysterical, yelling, screaming, crying on the street. She was crying, saying, ‘I just want to get my car,’” Osiecki told Page Six of the New York Post:
Osiecki and her husband, John Osiecki, told the outlet that Hayley lived in the house with Pamela about a decade ago; they recognized her Mercedes in the driveway Wednesday night.
The neighbors claimed that while the mother-daughter duo lived together, paramedics and police would frequently be called to the home, though they did not know why.
Hiromi said she last saw Pamela Monday night taking out the trash and that she “looked sad.”
However, John called her death “shocking” because “she was chatty” and “would talk to a lot of people when she walked her dogs.”
Pamela’s agent expressed shock and called her a “force of nature,” highlighting her pride in her daughters, Hayley and Taylor.
David Hasselhoff released a statement expressing the family’s grief and requesting privacy.
Pamela did not leave a suicide note.
In addition to Baywatch, Pamela is remembered for her key roles on other TV series such as Knight Rider and T.J. Hooker.
