A car bombing has claimed the life of the daughter of the man known as “Putin’s Brain.”
Darya Dugina, died at 9:00 p.m. local time in Moscow Oblast shortly after her father’s SUV exploded. Russian investigators say the bomb was meant for her father, Alexander Dugin, an ultra-nationalist leader who influenced Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine.

Mr Dugin is a prominent ultra-nationalist ideologue who is believed to be close to the Russian president.
Alexander Dugin and his daughter had been at a festival near Moscow, where the philosopher gave a lecture.
According to reports, Dugin made a last-minute decision to leave the festival in a separate vehicle.
Unverified footage posted on Telegram appears to show Mr Dugin watching in shock as emergency services arrive at the scene of the burning wreck of a vehicle.
