A purportedly “right-wing” group called Patriot Front made headlines in December when 150 members in blue jackets and khakis marched on the U.S. Capitol.
At the time, precious little information was available about Patriot Front online. The far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) claimed the group formed after the infamous Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
After their march, RedState contributor Bonchie did some further digging, as no one they knew of in the conservative movement knew, organized or helped fundraise for Patriot Front. Little was found, besides the SPLC’s dubious claims and a Wikipedia page about Patriot Front that appeared to have been published or edited hours before.
The organization was a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma by all accounts. At the time, more than a few conservatives speculated on Twitter that the demonstration had been orchestrated by and made up of federal agents. We’ve since learned that Patriot Front claims to have a history. According to RedState, a man name Thomas Rousseau says he created the group in 2017.
Very little is known beyond that, aside from the fact these guys like cosplaying as “Jake from State Farm.”
Not surprisingly, they make grassroots activists suspicious. Such was the case on Monday at a pro-life rally in Chicago.
Behold, Their Latest Debacle
As the videos below show, peaceful conservatives marching for the rights of society’s most vulnerable were incensed by the appearance of these suspect pro-lifers (who decided to bring shin guards and riot shields with them):

When they tried to leave the area in private vehicles this time (no U-hauls), people noticed the license plates were covered up and wondered why the police, who were there, were not arresting them or stopping them for having obscured license plates.
Former Democratic assemblyman Dov Hikind of New York City asked the question that a lot were asking.
Interesting question. You would think it would be easy to stop them for that and then identify all of them. Things that make you go hmmm…
Apparently, the one thing that everyone can get together on is mocking Patriot Front.
The federal government has a long history of infiltrating protest movements. These days, a growing number of conservatives are concerned by allegations that government agents engage in entrapment.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz echoed those same concerns in a recent exchange with FBI National Security Branch Executive Assistant Director Jill Sanborn.
