The United Nations’ World Health Organization, which has defended and coddled Communist China throughout the global COVID-19 pandemic, would lose its United States taxpayer funding under new legislation from a Texas conservative.
Republican Congressman Chip Roy (TX-21) has introduced the “No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization Act,” which would prohibit the United States from providing assessed or voluntary funding to the WHO.
The WHO initially tried to debunk claims the COVID-19 virus originated from a Wuhan Institute of Virology laboratory, claims that were later shown to be credible.
It has also praised Communist China’s handling of the outbreak, which has largely been brutally enforced in-home lockdowns and a largely ineffective vaccine and attacked the policies of the United States.
Fifteen other House conservatives joined Roy in co-sponsoring the legislation.
“Funneling millions of taxpayer dollars to the corrupt World Health Organization that serves the Chinese Communist Party is a slap in the face to hardworking American families struggling under record high inflation, and to all those whose lives and livelihoods were ruined and destroyed by the COVID pandemic,” said Roy in a statement announcing the bill.
“The WHO not only regularly promotes abortion and radical gender ideology but also praised China for their ‘leadership’ at the beginning of COVID-19 and has done nothing to hold the CCP accountable for the spread of COVID-19,” said Roy.
“It is far past time for Congress to use its power of the purse to cut off U.S. funding to this corrupt international body just like the Trump Administration did,” Roy concluded.

I don’t know how the WHO got to be the final word on health issues, but I do know that they are a greatly biased entity. Unfortunately they bow down to the communist ideals and promote the killing of infants before they have a chance to draw a breath. I certainly don’t want to be guided by the WHO for my health decisions.

Actually, you ARE defending the WHO. The fact it is NAMED the World Health Organization means NOTHING. If I named a group the World Environmental Police, that wouldn’t make them experts on the environment, but they probably would be more qualified than the UN panel of climate change.

When we all look at the facts of what happened
during this time we tend to not believe its happening,
but it did happen and the WHO made some bad decisions. Not to mention that the inflation has top out like never before. I don’t need to comment on china everyone knows what’s up with that.

It is high time we cut or significantly reduce spending to these international organizations who are not elected by the citizens but by power hungary greedy parasites living off the taxpayer. Their added value to the USA would vit on a pin head yet we do an inordinate of their funding.
