Maryland’s former Republican Governor Larry Hogan has frequently been included in the growing list of 2024 presidential contenders in recent weeks, and he seemed to add fuel to that speculation during a Fox News appearance.
During an interview with Fox’s Neil Cavuto, Hogan shared the following about his track record:
“We’ve been really successful 30 miles outside of Washington where everything appears to be broken… I’m in one of the bluest states in the county with a 70% progressive legislature and I got them to cut taxes 8 years in a row by 4.8 billion and I had the biggest economic turnaround in America.”
While Washington is completely broken and heading in the wrong direction, we’ve shown how to win and deliver common sense conservative results in the most difficult possible environment. That’s why I am giving serious consideration to running for president. pic.twitter.com/WujSVJoZC9

As a former two-term governor of a blue state and prominent Trump critic, Hogan believes he can bridge the gap with independent and Democrat voters enough to land him in the White House in 2024.
Speaking on Trump’s candidacy, Hogan said the following:
Gov. Larry Hogan on Trump: "I just don't think he happens to be our strongest nominee…We've lost three elections in a row. We lost the White House. I think we have got to figure out a candidate that can appeal to a broader audience of people." pic.twitter.com/WlgDTaDf5L
