This week, a reporter was caught on camera with a far-left professor holding a machete to his neck and threatening to “chop” him up. The professor recently gained notoriety for insulting pro-life students.
Tuesday, a reporter from the New York Post visited the residence of Shellyne Rodriguez, a lecturer at Hunter College, to confront her regarding a profanity-filled rant that had been shared on Twitter by Students for Life of America.
“You’re not educating s***. This is f***ing propaganda,” the art professor yelled at the students. “What are you going to do, like, anti-trans next?”
After saying that the students were “triggering” other students, the professor began throwing the materials the students had at their booth.
When reporter Reuven Fenton of the New York Post visited her residence in the Bronx on Tuesday, she met him while brandishing a sizable machete.
“Get the f*** away from my door, or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete!” she yelled as she put the machete right up next to his neck. “Get the f*** away from my door! Get the f*** away from my door!”
The reporter and photographer fled the building swiftly but were pursued a short while later when a woman emerged from the premises carrying a machete.
“If I see you on this block one more f***ing time, you’re gonna …” she said as she began to chase them. “Get the f*** off the block! Get the f*** out of here, yo!”
She ran after the photographer, according to a later article in The New York Post, and then returned “to kick the reporter in the shins.”
Later, a Hunter College representative confirmed her termination from the publication.
“Hunter College strongly condemns the unacceptable actions of Shellyne Rodriguez and has taken immediate action,” he said. “Rodriguez has been relieved of her duties at Hunter College effective immediately, and will not be returning to teach at the school.”
