Sam Brinton made history as the first openly nonbinary senior government official employed by the Department of Energy.
Sam, who uses they/them pronouns, fell from grace after repeatedly stealing women’s luxury luggage from airport baggage carousels.
Unearthed expense reports obtained by the Functional Government Initiative (FGI), a government watchdog group, found that the baggage thefts occurred while Brinton was traveling on taxpayer-funded business trips.
FGI shared the internal reports with Fox News, showing in extensive detail how the American public unwittingly funded Britton’s escapes from the scenes of his crimes:
Months later, in early December, Las Vegas prosecutors charged Brinton with grand larceny of an item valued between $1,200 and $5,000. Police accused Brinton of stealing a suitcase with a total estimated worth of $3,670 at Harry Reid International Airport on July 6, 2022, the same day Brinton traveled to Las Vegas on official DOE business.
The stolen bag contained jewelry valued at $1,700, clothing worth $850 and makeup valued at $500.
“It’s outrageous that tax dollars transported Brinton to and from the scene of a crime, putting the American public unwittingly at the wheel of the getaway car,” FGI spokesperson Peter McGinnis said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“The federal government obviously needs a more stringent vetting process for senior-level positions,” McGinnis added. “Senior officials committing petty crime while on the clock is a clear indication that something is dysfunctional in the personnel procedures.”
The Department of Energy has yet to respond to requests for comment.

Brinton is just an example of the quality of people in the Biden Administration. He was chosen not for what he knows, not for his education or even for his job experience. Rather he was hired because he is a Non-binary, cross-dressing, gay man with a criminal fetish for wearing women’s clothing that he has stolen from airports. That really makes you wonder about the qualifications of the other people working for Biden, does it not?

The guy’s only qualification for his high level government job was his claim of being non-binary. He was so arrogant he thought being non-binary made him a poster child and untouchable. He needs to spend some real time in jail in the hopes that some reality kicks in though I doubt it will. It amazes me how most Democrats think he’s a misunderstood victim.
