Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.

According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.

The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.

NATIONAL SECURITY

BIDEN NEEDS MORE BALLS – What does Ukraine need from the US? Military official: ‘We would like to see some balls.‘ A senior Ukrainian military official said his country’s forces are in high spirits but said NATO and U.S. leaders needed to show some more … um, fortitude in standing up to Russia, despite a nuclear threat.

FAR BIGGER THREAT – Is Taiwan Next? That could mean not only Russia exerting control over Eastern Europe but also China imposing itself over East and Southeast Asia — particularly Taiwan.

CHINA THREAT

BUT THEY PROMISED NOT TO! China has fully militarized isles, Indo-Pacific commander says. China has fully militarized at least three of several islands it built in the disputed South China Sea, arming them with anti-ship and anti-aircraft missile systems, laser and jamming equipment and fighter jets in an increasingly aggressive move that threatens all nations operating nearby, a top U.S. military commander said Sunday.

WRONG ABOUT THE WAR AND HISTORY – China on the right side of history over Ukraine war, foreign minister says. China stands on the right side of history over the Ukraine crisis as time will tell, and its position is in line with the wishes of most countries, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said.

RUSSIA THREAT

Russia accused of bombing a Ukrainian shelter and kidnapping citizens. Mariupol, a port city of some 400,000 on the Sea of Azov in southeastern Ukraine, has become a vivid symbol of the devastation wrought by the war.

HELL NO – Ukraine defies Russian demand to lay down arms in Mariupol. Ukraine defied a Russian demand that its forces lay down arms before dawn on Monday in Mariupol, where hundreds of thousands of civilians have been trapped in a city under siege and already laid to waste by Russian bombardment.

KILLING FOREIGN VOLUNTEERS – Russia says it hit military facility in Ukraine’s Rivne region with cruise missiles. “High-precision air-launched cruise missiles have struck a training center for foreign mercenaries and Ukrainian nationalist formations,” Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

Russian invasion could become unsustainable, experts say. Heavy Russian casualties and equipment losses, combined with limited progress on the ground, suggest the conflict could be headed toward a stalemate.

NORTH KOREA THREAT

North Korea fires artillery into sea days after failed missile launch. North Korea fired suspected artillery pieces into the sea on Sunday, South Korea’s military said, days after the North’s latest missile launch ended in failure amid the country’s recent burst of weapons testing activity.

IRAN THREAT

US troops will likely be in Iraq for years to come, Central Command chief says. The outgoing head of U.S. Central Command sees a long-term security cooperation mission in Iraq.

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY

US says Myanmar army committed genocide against Rohingya. The Biden administration has formally determined that violence committed against the Rohingya minority by Myanmar’s military amounts to genocide and crimes against humanity, U.S. officials told Reuters, a move that advocates say should bolster efforts to hold the junta that now runs Myanmar accountable.

US MILITARY AND SPACE

RIP AND SEMPER FI – 4 US Marines killed in Norway Osprey crash identified. With Marine Corps assistance, the bodies of the four Marines were able to be recovered and are currently being transported to the United States.

Marine Corps ends all 3 of its crisis response deployments. The Marine Corps soon will end its crisis response deployments developed after the deadly 2012 terrorist attack on a US diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya.

Soo? Neo-Stalinist Russia sets the Rules Of Engagement, and the West bends over?

Why not follow the precedent the USSR and Communist China used in the Korean war?

They both piloted MIG Jet Fighters based jn Communist China against NATO forces trying to repel the North Korean invasion of South Korea. Thousands of Communist Chinese troops invaded to support retreating North Korean forces.

Therefore, NATO pilots can fly Jet Fighters based in NATO countries against Russian forces invading Ukraine and even send troops and armor!
……………………See how that works? Fair is Fair!

One ironic fact, Russia had 5 nukes in 1950. The USA had 299.
The USSR went all in ignoring their nuke weakness and sent T-34 Tanks, MIG-15 jets and pilots to support the North Korean invasion of the south.

They had aggressive leaders. Unlike Truman who chickened out after he backstabbed MacArthur because of his call for total victory.

Brandon doesn’t want more or bigger balls. He can’t juggle the ones he has, though I surmise he spends a great deal of time in the basement diverting himself with his toys.
