Is Biden Trying To Overthrow Israel’s Conservative Government?

ANALYSIS – Are we seeing a potential Biden coup against Netanyahu while Israel is in the fight of its life?

When the left-wing president of the United States, Joe Biden, increasingly calls the conservative leader of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, an obstacle to his own plans for the Middle East, it raises concerns. (RELATED: Biden Suffers Catastrophic Primary Defeat In Major US City)

But when Biden’s intelligence agencies publicly state that they “expect” protests in our most important Mideast ally to bring down the Israeli government and replace Netanyahu with someone “different” and more “moderate,” that’s much more alarming.

To any average observer, much more so to someone with an intelligence background, this is very concerning indeed.

It might not seem so dangerous that our Intelligence Community (IC) might predict such an outcome, except that this assessment appears to have been widely and deliberately leaked to major news media.

This just isn’t normally done unless you are trying to send a powerful message.

The Wall Street Journal noted that:

While challenges to Netanyahu’s continuation in power have been widely discussed since Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel, it appeared unusual for American spy agencies to offer their analysis of an allied leader’s political prospects in an unclassified document.

As Breitbart reported:

The claim emerged in the latest “Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community,” and was published by both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times Monday evening, suggesting a coordinated leak to the media.

The assessment says:

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has publicly stated his opposition to postwar diplomacy with the Palestinian Authority (PA) toward territorial compromise.

Netanyahu’s viability as leader as well as his governing coalition of far-right and ultraorthodox parties that pursued hardline policies on Palestinian and security issues may be in jeopardy. Distrust of Netanyahu’s ability to rule has deepened and broadened across the public from its already high levels before the war, and we expect large protests demanding his resignation and new elections. A different, more moderate government is a possibility.

Breitbart’s senior editor-at-large, Joel B. Pollak, insightfully continued:

Many observers have long suspected the Biden administration of working to bring down the Netanyahu government through a “color revolution.” A State Department-funded group was at the core of opposition to Netanyahu’s judicial reform, and then-Ambassador Tom Nides was described as the “arsonist-in-chief,” as he openly supported the Israeli opposition movement and the protests. President Biden also froze Netanyahu out, refusing to meet him for months.

Polls suggest that the vast majority of Israelis support Netanyahu’s positions — opposing a Palestinian state; backing the continuation of the war until Hamas’s complete defeat; and preparing for possible war against Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. Polls also indicate that the vast majority of Americans support Netanyahu’s approach to the war — and oppose Biden’s approach, which has sought to appease terror and dissenting left-wing and Muslim-American voters.

The Wall Street Journal added:

Biden and Netanyahu have been increasingly locked in a war of words over Israel’s military offensive in Gaza, with the U.S. president warning against an Israeli attack on the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Netanyahu appeared to dismiss those concerns in an interview with Politico on Sunday.

Biden warned Israel against a Rafah operation unless it took steps to protect civilians, calling it a “red line” and leaving open the possibility that he would withhold some types of U.S. military assistance if the operation went ahead.

That overt Biden threat is now apparently being backed by the suggestion that the U.S. might want to see ‘regime change’ in Israel.

Meanwhile, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress that the United States was facing elevated terrorism threats from homegrown extremists, foreign organizations and others. “Since Oct. 7, though, that threat has gone to a whole other level,” he said. “And so, this is time for much greater vigilance.” 

Pushing to overthrow our most critical democratic ally in the Mideast may not be the best way to keep us safe.
