Authorities in Philadelphia are responding to reports of a mass shooting at an event marking the end of Ramadan.
Aerial footage shows a large police presence at the Ramadan Eid al-Fitr festival. FOX 29’s Steve Keeley posted to X that authorities have made numerous arrests. Several people were shot and no less than four guns were recovered from the scene.
At least one Philadelphia police officer discharged their service weapon.
The shooter or shooters have not been identified yet, and the motive remains unknown.
