Americans Back Using Military For Mass Deportations: Polls

ANALYSIS – Even CNN can’t hide from the new reality – Americans are fed up with the invasion of illegal foreigners under Joe Biden. And they are taking increasingly hardline positions to resolve the crisis.

Most Americans are now aligned with the tough border security and immigration positions of former President Donald Trump.

This, according to numerous mainstream polls, including a recent CNN poll, a similar Reuters/Ipsos poll, a Monmouth University poll and others. (RELATED: CNN Poll: Trump Leads Biden As Majority Of Americans Have Positive Thoughts Of Previous Term)

Among the increasingly conservative views on dealing with the invasion of uninvited foreigners, The Daily caller reports that: “American voters are increasingly receptive to the idea of mass deportations, a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico, detention camps for illegal aliens awaiting removal and even the use of military troops to help with deportation efforts.”

Americans also explained why they are concerned about illegal immigration, with 21 percent citing increased violence, crime, and drugs, 18 percent pointing to the costs borne by taxpayers, and 17 percent citing risks to our national security.

The Daily Caller continues:

A CNN survey found that 48% of Americans favored the idea of detaining and deporting millions of illegal aliens. When a Reuters/Ipsos poll asked Americans if illegal aliens “should be arrested and put in detention camps while awaiting deportation hearings,” 42% of respondents answered affirmatively.

For the first time in the poll’s history, a Monmouth University survey in February found that a majority of Americans now support building a border wall.

In one of the most notable recent surveys, an Economist/YouGov poll found that 56% of Americans favor “using military troops to arrest and deport people who are in the U.S. unlawfully,” as opposed to only 31% who were against the idea. Sixty percent of respondents also agreed it was a “good idea” to use military troops to assist Border Patrol in securing the southern border with Mexico.

Meanwhile, after Republican governors started shipping illegals to Democrat-run “sanctuary cities,” an Axios poll released in early April, showed that: “An outright majority of Americans now say they support the mass deportation of illegal aliens, including 42% of Democrats.” (RELATED: Denver To Cut Fire And Police Funding To Address Migrant Crisis)

This should spell trouble for Joe Biden’s sinking reelection efforts.

The Daily Wire notes:

America has witnessed a drastic increase in illegal immigration under the Biden administration, with officials recording over 9.5 million nationwide encounters and 1.7 million estimated gotaways since the Democrat took office. The figure poses a sharp contrast with the 415,000 total reported gotaways for 2018, 2019, and 2020 under the Trump administration.

This is why about two-thirds of Americans surveyed by Axios believed illegal immigration to be a real crisis, not a politically driven story by the GOP, as many Democrats have often claimed.

But the far-left, tone deaf Biden administration keeps digging itself, and America, into a deeper hole.

The Daily Mail reports that: “Biden considering amnesty for over 1 MILLION illegal immigrants who are married to U.S. citizens giving them ‘parole in place’ and work permits.”

The outlet adds:

Although immigrants, even those living in the U.S. illegally, are typically able to gain citizenship when they marry American citizens there are a number of reasons why they may have [not] been given the benefit.

Some main reasons they are denied citizenship in these cases are if the individual has repeatedly entered the country illegally or forged legal documentation in the past.

An estimated 1.1 million illegal foreigners are married to U.S. citizens. 

The Daily Mail explains: “The idea of ‘parole in place’ is similar to humanitarian parole that Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has used to admit hundreds of thousands of migrants at the border who make asylum claims through the CBP One mobile app.”
