Polls Find Americans More Likely To Have Seen A Ghost Than Believe Biden Economic Plan Working

Two years after Congress passed Joe Biden's so-called “Inflation Reduction Act,” a crushing majority of Americans believe the multi-trillion spending scheme only delivered relief to corporations and left them behind.

A new Associated Press/NORC poll finds only 19 percent of Americans believe the Inflation Reduction Act “did more to help” the economy than hurt.

For comparison, a 2021 YouGov survey found 20 percent of Americans said they have seen a ghost.

The AP/NORC poll found that 26 percent of Americans believe the Inflation Reduction Act “did more to hurt” the economy – more than those who thought it helped.

Twenty (20) percent of Americans report the IRS resulted in “not much difference” while 34 percent said they didn't know enough to make a conclusion.

Only 34 percent of Democrats felt the IRS did “more to help,” along with just 15 percent of the independent voters Biden needs to win re-election.

The $1.2 trillion spending bomb, originally pitched as “Build Back Better” until polls found it wasn't appealing to voters, funneled cash to corporations to subsidize so-called “green” energy.

Despite the final title of “Inflation Reduction Act” the bill contained no actual plan to reduce inflation and instead directed billions of federal tax dollars to Biden's political allies.

That may be why voters also don't feel the IRA did anything to stop inflation or so-called “climate change.”

* Only 16 percent of all adults felt the IRA “did more to help” climate change, with 13 percent saying it “did more to hurt,” 30 percent feeling it made “not much difference” and 41 percent reporting they “didn't know enough to say.”

* Along Democrats, only 27 percent felt the IRA “did more to help” climate change, with 5 percent saying it “did more to hurt,” another 27 percent feeling it made “not much difference” and 41 percent reporting they “didn't know enough to say.”

* Among crucial independents, only 12 percent felt the IRA “did more to help” climate change, with 17 percent saying it “did more to hurt,” 23 percent feeling it made “not much difference” and 48 percent reporting they “didn't know enough to say.”

* Only 16 percent of all adults felt the IRA “did more to help” inflation, with 28 percent saying it “did more to hurt,” 21 percent feeling it made “not much difference” and 35 percent reporting they “didn't know enough to say.”

* Along Democrats, only 27 percent felt the IRA “did more to help” inflation, with 12 percent saying it “did more to hurt,” another 21 percent feeling it made “not much difference” and 39 percent reporting they “didn't know enough to say.”

* Among crucial independents, only 12 percent felt the IRA “did more to help” climate change, with 17 percent saying it “did more to hurt,” 23 percent feeling it made “not much difference” and 48 percent reporting they “didn't know enough to say.”
