Media Hypes Fake Pro-Trump N. Korea ‘October Surprise’ Story

WEEKEND PDB – Democrats are pushing a fabricated narrative of foreign influence to help Donald Trump in the upcoming election. Are Russia and North Korea planning an ‘October surprise' that aids Trump?

NBC wrote: “Team Biden is increasingly concerned that the intensifying military alliance between Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un could vastly expand Pyongyang's nuclear capabilities and increase tensions in the Asia-Pacific region.”

BUT THAT IS ALL JOE BIDEN'S FAULT.

MEANWHILE – NBC News adds: “U.S. officials are also bracing for North Korea to potentially take its most provocative military actions in a decade close to the U.S. presidential election, possibly at Putin's urging, the officials said.”

“The timing, they said, could be designed to create turmoil in yet another part of the world as Americans decide whether to send President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump back to the White House.”

“We have no doubt that North Korea will be provocative this year. It's just a matter of how escalatory it is,” a U.S. intelligence official said.

NEITHER NBC NOR ITS SOURCES PROVIDED ANYTHING TO BACK THESE RIDICULOUS CLAIMS.

After the publication of this story, Steven Cheung, a Trump campaign spokesman, said “the only ‘October surprise' will be the look of shock” among reporters when Trump wins re-election.

China sends dozens of warplanes and ships near Taiwan to show its anger over island's new leaders. This, after the second day of a large military exercise launched by Beijing to show its anger over the self-governing island's inauguration of new leaders who refuse to accept that Taiwan is part of China.

Philippines says it will forge security alliances and stage combat drills despite China's opposition. The U.S. ally will continue to build security alliances and stage joint combat drills in disputed waters to defend its territorial interests, calling China's criticisms of such moves as paranoia.

Australian judge says US ex-fighter pilot accused of training Chinese aviators can be extradited to US. A Sydney judge on Friday ruled that former U.S. Marine Corps pilot Daniel Duggan can be extradited to the U.S., leaving the attorney general as Duggan's last hope of remaining in Australia.
