The House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a war powers resolution aimed at ending unauthorized U.S. military involvement in Iran, marking the most significant congressional challenge yet to President Donald Trump’s handling of the conflict.

The measure, sponsored by Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) invokes the 1973 War Powers Resolution and would require the administration to obtain explicit authorization from Congress before continuing hostilities against Iran, except in cases involving an imminent threat to the United States. The vote followed months of growing bipartisan concern over a conflict that began in.

President Biden’s command of his own body is debatable. Still, many assumed that his German Shepherd, Commander, only misbehaved when not in his master’s presence.

As it turns out, that wasn’t the case. Newly released emails obtained by the nonprofit watchdog Judicial Watch revealed that the octogenarian commander-in-chief had front-row seats to his dog’s attacks on no fewer than two occasions. After one of the incidents, an agent reportedly suggested the aggressive pooch get a muzzle.

In February, multiple outlets reported that Commander had chomped on United States Secret Service (USSS) agents at least 24 times, resulting in trips to the ER and tailor.

As Fox News reports:

Multiple USSS personnel shared that the attacks happened as Biden was walking the dog, with the president witnessing the incidents first-hand.

The email cache revealed increasing frustration among service agents regarding the handling of Biden’s hound.

“TMZ just reported a dog bite at the White House! Can we please find a way to get this dog muzzled?” personnel from the U.S. Secret Service Safety, Health & Environment Division wrote in an email.

One Secret Service member shared that his encounter with Commander happened on Sep. 13, 2023, while Biden was taking his dog to the Kennedy Garden for an evening walk.

“As I started to walk toward him to see if he needed help, Commander ran through his legs and bit my left arm through the front of my jacket,” the USSS agent wrote. “I pulled my arm away and yelled, ‘No’. POTUS also yelled [redacted] to Commander. POTUS then [redacted]. I obliged and Commander let me pet him.”

“When turning to close the door, Commander jumped again and bit my left arm for the second time. POTUS again yelled at Commander and attached the leash to him,” the agent continued. “My suit coat has 3 holes,1 being all the way through. No skin was broken.”

Commander’s time at the White House follows the Bidens’ decision to relocate their previous dog, Major, following a bout of aggressive behavior, including bites on Secret Service personnel and White House staff.

These days, Major is reportedly being “cared for by friends of the Biden family.”

The poor dog is as confused as its owner. This breed needs loving control. Having owned several dogs of this breed I can assure you they are highly intelligent and need guidance.
