ANALYSIS – Say it isn't so! Even as other major American corporations like Microsoft, John Deere and Tractor Supply, drop or restrict their insane diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, an American icon is going in the opposite direction.
Harley-Davidson, America's best known motorcycle company, is the latest major brand to face backlash over its far-left DEI efforts – with a conservative online influencer calling for a boycott of the company.
The Wisconsin-based company, with a German CEO, has reportedly “gone totally woke,” by hosting an LGBTQ+ boot camp at its offices, sponsoring Pride events and subjecting white employees to DEI brainwashing.
Most Americans would agree that these far-left woke values do not reflect the values of many, if any, Harley bikers.
I for one, and more of an Indian motorcycle fan, and maybe this is a good reason for more bikers to switch to this other iconic American brand.
Meanwhile, one conservative activist, Robby Starbuck, who has more than half a million followers on X, and previously ran for congress in Tennessee, is organizing a boycott of the formerly beloved company.
This may push people away from Harley and over to Indian or other brands.
As Starbuck says, it's “time to expose Harley Davidson.”
“@harleydavidson has been one of the most beloved brands in America but recently on CEO Jochen Zeitz's watch, they've gone totally woke.”
“Do Harley riders want the money they spend at Harley to be used later by corporate to push an ideology that's diametrically opposed to their own values?” Starbuck asks.
According to Starbuck, Harley-Davidson openly supports “the equality act” which would allow men into girl's bathrooms and lockers. HD also funded an all-ages pride event that featured a “rage room” next to a “story time room for children to interact with drag queens.”
Harley-Davidson also organized an “LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship boot camp” at its corporate offices in Wisconsin.
In a 10-minute video posted to X, Starbuck noted that Harley-Davidson is a “platinum founding member of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce in Wisconsin,” which opposed banning transgender sex changes for children.
He added that:
1,800 HD employees had to do virtual training on how to become LGBTQ+ allies. HD also sent some White Male employees to a White Male ONLY woke diversity training program. And HD is openly working to have less White suppliers, dealers and employees.
If that wasn't enough, its legal dept. took a 21-day woke “racial equity and literacy challenge” which included speeches like “Black Panthers, White Lies,” a BLM speech, and Ta-Nehisi Coates ‘Case for Reparations.' It also promoted controversial works such as the “1619 Project.”
But wait, there's more.
The far-left CEO also made February and March “Months of Inclusion” at HD. This, in addition to the obnoxious imposition of an entire LGBT Pride Month in July everywhere.

Please ALWAYS be respectful and remember that many of the employees disagree with the corporate policies. The majority of your local dealers nearly ALL disagree with this culture change so be VERY respectful if you reach out to your local dealer with concerns.
He adds. Informing “consumers about the values major companies are adopting so they can make choices about what they're willing to support. That's not cancel culture, it's capitalism.”
