The shift comes as Harris' campaign has been gaining momentum in key swing states, with recent polls showing her leading Trump nationally.
Trump still holds a lead on the Polymarket betting platform by 12 points with a slowly diminishing lead.
The race between Harris and Trump remains tight in battleground states, with recent polls showing Harris leading in Michigan and Wisconsin, while the two are neck-and-neck in Georgia and Arizona.

The betting markets saw little initial reaction when the Democratic Party moved from President Biden to Harris. Trump retained a significant lead over the newly anointed Democratic contender. However, several factors may have contributed to this recent shift in favor of Harris:
1. J.D. Vance's Negative Approval Ratings: A Civiqs survey of 1,123 registered voters conducted from July 27 to 30 showed that Vance has a favorable rating of 34% and an unfavorable rating of 51%, resulting in a net score of -17.
2. Media Coverage: The media has been notably favorable towards Kamala Harris, which has boosted her visibility and support.
3. Trump's Combative Appearance: Trump's recent contentious appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists may not have helped his standing.

Simply standard media gaslighting and propaganda. A VP that consistently polled worse than Biden (for good and just reasons), cannot suddenly become a “darling” of the polls except by the standard democrat party method of inverting the ‘truth’ mirror. Nothing Kamala has done, or truthfully said, in the last week can have changed anyone’s mind about her skills or qualifications.
