Right wingers have long decried George Soros' influence on American politics, and since he handed his empire over to his son, his donation records indicate that conservatives should be on high alert.
While Democrats have long dismissed “Soros money” as a far right conspiracy theory, there are certain records they can't erase and can't deny — no matter how many times they attempt to wash their money prior to depositing their donations.
Alex Soros — son of George Soros who has been in control of the Soros slush fund for over a year now — describes himself as more political than his father, and has diverted funds from his father's criminal justice endeavors towards organizations and causes with the objective of keeping President Trump and his allies out of power and away from public office, with his father spending five times as much on “criminal justice” oriented groups as the newly crowned heir.

Since The Wall Street Journal first reported that Alex Soros had taken over his father's political operation on June 11, 2023, he has pumped tens of millions of dollars into an array of efforts to sway the 2024 election, financial disclosures show.
Democracy PAC, the primary conduit through which the Soros family shuffles its wealth into electoral politics, spent roughly $40 million after the WSJ reported that George Soros had passed the reins on to his son, campaign finance records show. The PAC's spending under Alex Soros signals somewhat of a departure from how his father operated it, with less focus on criminal justice and a greater emphasis on helping Democrats keep the White House.
While George Soros was famous for funding the elections of far left attorneys general and district attorneys, leading to crime waves across the country and the palpable deterioration of major American cities, his son's concerns seem to be in Washington.

Democracy PAC has sent $10 million to Future Forward PAC since the WSJ reported that Alex Soros had taken over, per Federal Election Commission (FEC) records. President Joe Biden's campaign in 2020 anointed Future Forward to serve as the primary super PAC to boost the Democratic presidential effort, and the operation has since pivoted to support Vice President Kamala Harris after Biden dropped out, according to multiple outlets.
Democracy PAC is not the only way the Soros family injects money into politics. Open Society Foundations, the philanthropic network founded by George Soros and now headed by his son, has poured tens of millions of dollars into left-of-center activist groups that have worked to prevent former President Donald Trump from winning elections.
While Democrats publicly gripe about “dark money in politics” and “election interference,” when comparing billionaire donations, left leaning PACs, organizations and candidates seem to be the greatest beneficiaries.
This seems to be the latest example of the left preaching one thing to the American people, but practicing something else when they believe no one is paying attention.
