The number of Americans who carried a loaded handgun each day doubled between 2015 and 2019, coinciding with the rise of rioting and domestic terrorism as a liberal political tactic.
Personal safety was cited as the top reason for carrying a handgun.
“An estimated 6 million American adults carried a loaded handgun with them daily in 2019, double the number who said they carried a gun every day in 2015, according to a new study published in the American Journal of Public Health,” the liberal Guardian newspaper reports.
“A 2015 study by the same researchers, using the same methodology, had found that 3 million adults said they carried a loaded handgun daily, and 9 million did so once a month,” the Guardian notes.
The Guardian blamed the loosening of state gun laws and cited a Supreme Court ruling striking down New York's ban on handgun possession, but most of those state laws predated the rise in carrying, and the Court ruling came after the study's collected data.
The rise in carrying handguns came as liberal assault groups like antifa, or claiming allegiance to “Black Lives Matter,” launched a nationwide campaign of rioting, arson, murder and domestic terrorism.
The study's authors speculate the number of Americans who carry daily is likely even higher now than in 2019.
The news was greeted with outrage and hysteria online.
“White Nationalists are getting ready in ever bigger numbers because of Trump. Murdoch and the rest who helped install him are finally getting what they paid for,” wailed @wheelwatcher11, believing nine million Americans are part of a secret conspiracy.
Despite liberal conspiracy theories that gun ownership is a “white supremacist” plot, black gun owners are the fastest-growing demographic.
“More guns equals more gun violence. We are living in a hell scape perpetrated by the @NRA the @GOP and the gun industry. It's killing us our children and our freedoms,” moaned @ZachRongers, citing a common conspiracy theory that “the gun makers” fund the Republican Party as part of a profit-making scheme that can be seen only by the liberal fringe.
In reality, groups like the NRA are largely funded by grassroots individuals making small donations, and violent crime has declined as gun ownership increased.
“As a citizen of a country that is a US ally, I can't recall ever seeing a US Tourism advertisement on TV. I wonder why? That seems unlikely to change,” clucked British tweeter @EarlofMinto.

The U.S. is the fourth-most popular destination for Brits and the most popular destination not accessible by train.

No one really knows for certain how many Citizens actually do carry daily. That is particularly true since fully half of the several states no longer require the mother may I permit/license.
The real issue is how many criminals routinely carry illegally. After all, they are the biggest threat to the rest of us.

This number is extremely low probably.No one is going to tell u there carrying a weapon, so the liberal,nut=jobs freak out, about it.Most people would never know your carrying,unless a dummy spreads it around,asking for trouble.Why not exercise your 2nd amendment right,when this corrupt, government starts releasing all these criminals, and the invasion on the border,u would be stupid not to carry to protect yourself and others.
