As millions of poor Mexicans and others are illegally flooding the United States, America is getting its revenge.
A flood of well-off Californians and other Americans has made its way legally to Mexico City, and many Mexicans aren't happy at being on the receiving end of the migration phenomenon.
The Los Angeles Times (LAT) report on Wednesday described how some Mexican locals are “fed up” with the growing number of Americans, especially Californians.
LAT says that in the first four months of this year, 1.2 million foreign visitors arrived at Mexico City's airport, while the State Department reports that there are 1.6 million Americans living in Mexico.
Fox News notes that this “has contributed to a rise in rent and a shift from Spanish to English in some places.” Fox adds how many Mexicans are angry and resentful:
“New to the city? Working remotely?” fliers popping up around Mexico City reportedly said. “You're a f—ing plague and the locals f—ing hate you. Leave.”
The article outlines how Americans have brought a scent of “new-wave” imperialism as taquerias and corner stores have slowly transformed into coffee shops and Pilates studios. English is also reportedly becoming more prevalent as more Americans are moving to and visiting Mexico City to take advantage of lower rent and the ability to stay in Mexico for six months without a visa.
“We're the only brown people,” Fernando Bustos Gorozpe, a 38-year-old writer and university professor, told the Los Angeles Times. “We're the only people speaking Spanish except the waiters.”
Bustos later posted a video on TikTok saying that the influx of Americans “stinks of modern colonialism” and nearly 2,000 people responded in agreement.
“Mexico is classist and racist,” Bustos added. “People with white skin are given preference. Now, if a local wants to go to a restaurant or a club, they don't just have to compete with rich, white Mexicans but with foreigners too.”
So now Mexicans are learning how many Americans have been feeling for decades.
While we all love visitors and legal immigrants, very few appreciate the negatives of having a mass of foreigners flooding our neighborhoods and changing the language, culture, and economy overnight.

Mexico wants all the money that tourists bring but don’t want “white skinned” people living there. At least we bring money. The immigrants coming into the USA are only costing us money, putting a burden on our schools, medical facilities, taking money from our social security system (that they never contributed to), etc.
Deal with it, Mexico. That’s pretty much what you have told us.

I wouldn’t necessarily want people from California moving to my town either. Some are OK but many are Marxists and would immediately want to change the neighborhood to fit their socialist life style. Trump had a deal with Mexico who is really just a pawn in the illegal alien game. Biden could care less what Mexico does, he is a moron. I’m sure Mexico can deal with a few political refugees who left their communist state for a more capitalistic one.
