Biden Trying To Block Trump’s Efforts To Drain The Swamp

-

ANALYSIS – Who will win? One of the most serious dangers to American democracy isn't or even . It is the entrenched filled with Democrat partisan hacks and leftist ideologues masquerading as untouchable, nonpartisan public servants.

Welcome to the ever expanding “.”

We all saw how many of these unelected bureaucrats slow-rolled and even openly undermined and subverted Trump's policies. In some cases, it was borderline treason. (RELATED: Ex-US Ambassador Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison For Spying For Cuba)

This is why Team Trump, helped by the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025, plans a serious house cleaning on day one of the next .

The Epoch Times noted:

After four years of being subverted and thwarted by the civil service bureaucracy, the finally figured out the core problem. There are more than 2 million permanent bureaucrats, ensconced in 430 agencies, who imagine themselves to live outside the democratic system and the U.S. Constitution itself. They believe they are the state and the elected leaders are mere decoration.

Trump's executive order insisted that every agency do an internal audit and ferret out any employee who has something to do with making or interpreting policy; that is, anyone whose work impacts on whether the president actually has control of the executive department. All those employees would be reclassified as Schedule F, meaning that they could be replaced if need be.

It is also why Biden, and his leftist deep state, and their Big allies, are now pushing back hard trying to protect their partisan supporters and enablers in the bureaucracy.

As also reported by The Epoch Times:

If Donald Trump wins the presidency this year, he's suggesting he will fire the so-called deep state. This is possible because of a change to rules that was made [‘Schedule F' under Trump] to the Office of Personnel Management [OPM] and would allow a president to fire people who otherwise would be part of a permanent bureaucracy. Yet, there's now a battle taking place over these rules. The has since undone the Trump-era changes in a bid to protect the unelected officials. Yet even this move can potentially be rolled back — placing the so-called deep state on unstable ground.

But first, some background. As Executive noted:

In the waning months of the Trump administration, the then-president signed an executive order creating a new classification of federal jobs called Schedule F, reserved for jobs involved in policy creation and advocacy or of an otherwise confidential nature.

Each federal agency was expected to scour its organizational charts and submit lists of jobs to the Office of Personnel Management to move from the competitive service to the new job category, effectively making the people occupying those roles at-will employees.

Ultimately, no jobs were converted into the new job category before President Biden took office in January 2021 and rescinded Trump's executive order. But one agency got close: the Office of Management and Budget received OPM approval on Jan. 11, 2021, to move 68% of its workforce into Schedule F.

In reality, under Trump's plan, only a few tens of thousands out of the 2.2 million, would be reclassified. (RELATED: The Latest Orwellian Security Measure You Don't Have To Follow)

But the mere idea of making rogue bureaucrats accountable to our elected political leaders has Team Biden running scared. Rescinding Trump's Schedule F in 2021 wasn't enough. Concerned that Trump may win the election, Team Biden took more concrete step to thwart Trump's legitimate plan. The Guardian reported:

Joe Biden's administration issued a new rule on Thursday making it harder to fire thousands of federal employees, hoping to head off the risk that if Donald Trump wins back the White House in November, he won't be able to bully and decimate the workforce as he imposes the radical ideologies he's been pushing on the campaign trail, escalating what he did while in office.

New regulations coming out of the government's chief human resources agency, the Office of Personnel Management, will bar career civil servants from being reclassified as political appointees or as other at-will workers – who are more easily dismissed from their jobs.

The final rule, 237 pages long, is being published in the federal registry and set to take effect next month. Trump as president could direct OPM to draft new rules, but that would take time, and those new rules could face legal challenges.

Jeffery Tucker explained that this is “a battle for control, and it is the underlying dynamic that shapes our lives right now.”

He added:

The bad guys [Democrats] are scared. Now we know this for sure, or they would not be trying to pre-rig the system against fundamental change. The elites believe based on long experience that they can always outwit the rest of the population. We shall see.
