I thought we lived in a free country.
After telling us it was fake news, the Biden administration has now outlawed 96% of gas stoves. Why is the federal government in my kitchen?
Wake up, America! This push for green energy is out of control and it is the latest excuse Democrats are using to control our lives from cradle to grave.
President Joe Biden has managed to screw up everything he touches. When it comes to foreign policy, we are now back to a cold war with Russia, China openly mocks us by flying a spy balloon over our country and we are dependent on foreign oil again. Biden has spent down our strategic reserves. Banks are failing. Our 401(k)s are now 201(k)s. Inflation is skyrocketing. Ohio has been poisoned. And we are $31 trillion in debt.
Biden should try to fix a real problem. I take that back. He would only make things worse. Instead, Biden should spend more time napping. We would be better off if he did nothing for the next two years!
While these huge problems are confronting our nation, this joke of a president is having the federal government micromanage our lives so much that they made gas stoves public enemy number one. Gas is far cleaner energy than electricity. So, this is not about being green. It is about control. Could it be that the federal government cannot monitor what we use for gas, but they can for electricity? Remember how Obama wanted to control what our thermostats were set at? Could their end goal be rationing electricity all in the name of climate change? Who would have thought the federal government would outlaw gas stoves?!
But wait, there is more micromanaging coming!
The Biden administration is not stopping with stoves. The next target is our washing machines. No joke! The federal government wants washers to use considerably less water and reduce cleaning performance. That’s nuts to reduce cleaning performance! So your options will be to either wash your clothes twice or wear dirty clothes. If consumers wanted washers with less cleaning ability, then Lowe’s and Home Depot would be selling them.
Unlike Biden, I am grateful for modern advances of washing machines. I don’t want to go back to pre-1908 when the electric washer was invented. If these no-clean washing machines are such a good idea, I think that Biden and every Member of Congress who signed on to the Green New Deal should use them. They can lead by example. The only way we are going to survive another two years of the Biden administration is to have good appliance extended warranties. And next time you do a load of laundry or cook something on your stove, remember to vote Republican.

Climate change ideology is just plain hubris and we, from both parties, just keep going along with it. It has always been about control. Same with electric cars. The automobile is hated by the elite because it is a ticket to freedom and they can’t stand that. The oil and gas industries have been made the boogie man because the government has not been able to completely control them. If you are old enough or lived in a part of the country where natural gas was not available you know what a boon it was. If you lived thru WWII food and gas rationing you have a hint of what is to come.
Time to take a page from Nancy Reagan and JUST SAY NO. Or, we could quit voting for the people who are trying to put us down. It is not a rule that we have to vote like our mamas did or because “they” say so. Get a life.
By the way, modern washing machines already use far less water than the previous generation of machines. Check it out. They already are at a practical minimum.
Biden doesn’t cook or do wash. Probably hasn’t for years, maybe even decades.
As an appliance repair business owner, I can tell you that unfortunately an extended warranty won’t help you either. In most situations they’re provisioned by the low bidder, many of whom have one or two star reviews. And too many manufacturers simply don’t pay anything so you end up with subpar workmanship. I’ve come upon many warranty jobs where the previous company did a dangerous work around just to get out of the customer’s house faster – For example, bypassing a safety fuse on a dryer or bypassing the lid switch on a washing machine or using a higher temperature rated fuse on a dryer that requires a lower temperature rated fuse. All fire and/or injury risks.
I love my gas stove, my gas car, my gas heat and my washing machine and gas dryer and have no intention of giving any of them up!!
Stop It! Stop pretending this destruction of our country is incompetence! Their actions are designed to conquer! Why is this so difficult for people (and authors) to say out loud?
