ANALYSIS – When did it become OK for a major American baseball team to honor an anti-Christian hate group? Calling anyone who offends anyone a ‘hater' is the left's latest weapon.
It is used to censor, demonize and crush any opposition to their radical agenda.
But to them, and apparently the Los Angeles Dodgers, only conservatives or Christians, or straight cis-whites can be haters or have hate groups.
If you are a group of despicable, vulgar men dressed up as Catholic nuns whose only purpose is to mock and ridicule Christianity, and Catholic nuns in particular, you are heroes and deserve an award.
This is not only deeply offensive but dangerous, considering the rise in anti-Catholic and pro-abortion violence against Christian churches and groups.
In the past year, there have been at least 255 attacks on Catholic churches, including arson, statues beheaded and gravestones defaced, according to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
The Dodgers will partner with LA Pride to present the anti-Catholic haters, the Los Angeles chapter of the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” a “Community Hero Award” next month.
The Major League Baseball (MLB) team will give the award during the team's “Pride Night” celebration before their June 16 home game.
“By rewarding anti-Catholicism, the Dodgers have broken bread with the most despicable elements in American society today,” Catholic League President Bill Donohue said.
He called the group an “obscene anti-Catholic group” and said he is writing to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred about the situation.
The group of men dress in drag queen versions of Catholic religious habits and claim to have a “ministry,” according to its website.
And let's be clear, hate of Catholicism, and Christianity in general, is the only mission of this disgusting group. “Go forth and sin some more!” is the group's slogan. As The Daily Wire reports:
CatholicVote, a Catholic nonprofit, wrote a letter to the Dodgers expressing outrage over the team's decision to honor the drag group and demanding their invitation be revoked.
“The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SPI) are an anti-Catholic hate group which exists to desecrate and degrade the Catholic faith. Their sole mission is to disgust Christians with the most grotesque acts they can imagine,” CatholicVote wrote.
The Daily Wire added:
Members of the group go by names like Sister T'aint A Virgin, Sister Risqué of the Sissytine Chapel, and Sister Edith Myflesh. The group also mocks the process of becoming a Catholic nun by having members become a postulant, then a novice, and finally a fully professed “sister” with a black veil. One of the group's founders originally used old habits used by real Catholic nuns.
It continued:
On Easter this year, the group put on a “Jesus and Mary-themed striptease” that involved a performer “writhing upside down on a large wooden cross,” the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
CatholicVote President Brian Burch said in a statement: “All Americans, especially Catholics, should be deeply concerned that the Dodgers feel comfortable platforming such a grotesque and blatantly anti-Catholic hate group at a time when Catholic Churches across our nation are already suffering a wave of violent attacks instigated by pro-abortion radicals.”
Catholics, and Christians of all denominations, should be outraged and vent their feelings firmly, but respectfully and peacefully, with the Dodgers.

I don’t understand why a baseball team would deliberately mock the people who (used to) buy tickets to their games. Even if you aren’t a Catholic, this is deeply offensive. I was raised a Catholic but left Catholicism as a teenager because I disagree with much of their teachings. It doesn’t matter – I’m still insulted by this.
I’m betting they’ve permanently lost about half of their viewers because they chose to mock and insult the fans, and, in return, they’ve gained (at most) two new fans. You can’t possibly have a more idiotic business model.

I quit watching pro-sports many years ago. lost interest in these prima-donnas earning a kings ransom for playing a kids game. and that means all of them, baseball, football, basketball, soccer, etc. now the idiots in L.A. follow the dumbest path they could by being “woke”. just remember…Go Woke, Go Broke!
